I ordered the crawfish basket with crawfish fried rice from the Stafford location on Friday. I live in alief. Once I arrived home and opened the box, I was livid. The crawfish looked like it had been sitting and then refried in some dirty grease . There was alot of burnt corn meal debris all throughout my rice. (1st picture) I took a picture and called, the manager said bring the receipt and they would replace my order. I called on Saturday to let them know I was on the way and the day people were extremely rude and then made me keep holding until they verified my story even though I had the picture and receipt. Then proceeded to tell me that they would only replace the crawfish. Upon arrival, before I even said who I was, I showed one of the workers the picture, she said what is that? I said exactly. Then she told the manager, "she here." I asked the manager could I speak with her so I could show her the picture and she acted as if I was bothering her, then proceeded to say well here you go.(2nd Picture) The sad part is the 2nd batch looked just like the first. I feel like this was very unprofessional, employees sitting outside in a white Jetta getting high parked right next to me, in their uniform. Like this is horrible customer service. I will be posting this review on all platforms. I have never received such horrible customer service from Lotus. A mistake we can fix, a mistake with no resolution and horrible customer service, is bad business. 3rd picture is what is suppose to look like from lotus seafood ordering website. There was a time I was very excited about Lotus Seafood on Braeswood, but at this location, the food is bad, the customer...

From the moment you walk into Lotus Seafood, you're met with an atmosphere that's both energetic and welcoming. The aroma alone lets you know you're in for something special – and the food absolutely delivers.
Let’s talk about the food first:
The seafood is always fresh, seasoned to perfection, and cooked just right – not too greasy, never overdone. The Hot Box is a personal favorite – loaded, flavorful, and satisfying every single time. Their butter sauce is out of this world – rich, garlicky, and the perfect complement to shrimp or crab. And don’t even get me started on the crack sauce – it’s a must-try for any first-time visitor. One taste and you'll understand why it’s a fan favorite.
But what truly sets Lotus Seafood apart is the exceptional service. Every visit is elevated by the positive energy and professionalism of the staff. Savannah always greets you with a warm smile and makes sure your order is exactly how you like it. Amiya is consistently attentive and friendly – you can tell she genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. Just gorgeous inside and out !The entire front staff works like a well-oiled machine: quick, courteous, and always ready to help with a great attitude.
You can also feel the positive work environment everyone seems to enjoy being there, and that team spirit shines through in how they interact with customers and each other. It’s refreshing to see such strong teamwork and a supportive atmosphere in a fast-paced setting.
All in all, Lotus Seafood isn’t just a place to eat – it’s a whole experience. Great food, excellent service, and a vibe that keeps you...
Read moreThis place was ok and my first and last time visiting. I would compare it to maybe, 1 step above Captain D's Seafood. They have a cheap grade of seafood like most $ and $$ restaurants and cover the cheapness of their food with seasonings, so don't be fooled. What really annoyed me though, were the stupid rules the manager was making a big deal about. I purchased three $5 dollars bottles of their, so-called, naturally squeezed Lemonade. I then asked for a styrofoam cup w/ice, but the manager claimed styrofoam cups were for $3.25 fountain drink purchases. I advised him that I paid $15 dollars for their bottled Lemonade which should be considered a premium drink purchase! Yet, he continued to act silly about giving me 1 styrofoam cup and instead offered a 3 oz. plastic cup that wouldn't quench the thirst of a 2 year old! I thought to myself, if this restaurant was in or near Tanglewood, in Cinco Ranch, you get my point, styrofoam cups would probably be at the fountain drink counter and not behind the counter where you have to request one. I guess management don't trust patrons and think they will steal a fountain drink after they ordered water. In addition to this silly edict about styrofoam cups, you will also notice their menu has fees for some of their sauces, which I was surprised ketchup was the only free sauce available! If you have an elevated level of expectations bypass the location in...
