I’m regrettably leaving a review after visiting this salon this past September. I was new to the area and searching for a colorist to avoid going into the city for my hair. While booking and greeting at reception was lovely, when I arrived I found that my stylist was not available and I would be seeing Becker. This situation seemed a little convenient as I was a new client but I went with it. I’ve always liked very light, icy blonde highlights. After relaying this to Becker he assured me that he understood and started working on my highlights. What I ended up with was closer to a single process look, and much more golden than I prefer. Not at all what I had asked for. And to make it worse, it’s going to take years before it fully grows out of my long hair. I am now stuck with hair that looks like a mess and no good way of fixing it. I’m highly disappointed and frustrated with my service and the lack of interest in actually listening to the client. I was very clear with what I wanted and Becker simply ignored my requests. I would not recommend this salon. Overpriced and arrogant.

Update: After posting, I received a call from the salon to try and fix the issue. We had a friendly and professional conversation. They offered to try and fix my hair free of charge - which I very much appreciate. I declined as I don’t have faith in their ability to do so. And secondly, I was offered a refund on my color if I removed my review. I also declined this offer as I don’t think it’s fair and it defeats the purpose entirely. Where do I even begin to describe my AMAZING experience in Becker’s salon?! There are not enough words…

First of all, the entrance and ambiance in the entire salon is absolutely perfection. It’s open, inviting, and smells amazing. The staff is quick to greet you and get you settled in for your appointment; offering to change into a robe for prevention of ruining your clothes if you are coloring. They offer a variety of refreshments including sparkling or still water, coffee, cappuccino, and even wine! 🥂 The staff is always asking how your experience is going and if you need anything….

Now Becker! Coloring was a brilliant experience, as well as the wash and masque session with massage! My hair was heavily processed and damaged, and now it is glistening with shine and healthy!!! The color is 100 times better and he did an amazing job matching it to my complexion and wishes!!! SUPERB JOB!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

On next, was the cut, style and blow out — which was perfection! They use their personal hair products on your hair and trust me when I say they are definitely worth the hype!! My hair smells absolutely delicious!! 🤤😍 I indulged in getting extensions done and they were quick, painless, and very well done with impeccable blending into my natural hair! I have VOLUME for dayssssssss 🫶🏽

I am a hairstylist of 10 years. Do not waste your time, money or hopes on this salon. After 2 years of not cutting my hair, it needed shape and style. I booked a haircut with Becker after scoping out his instagram for over a month. I showed him a video of his own work as it’s the most realistic expectation (or so I thought!). My hair was thick and long walking in. I walked out to with what I can most compare to a mullet and mushroom shaped haircut. It is appalling to say the least. There was no sectioning of hair, I’m not even sure what he used a comb for after seeing the result the layers are choppy and my length is completely uneven. You’d think he cut my hair blindfolded. My hair is barely past the shoulder, we discussed keeping it much longer than that. I wrote an honest email requesting a refund as this experience doesn’t even skim the surface of what I have to endure growing it out again. All I got in return was an offer for a complimentary visit. An offer I will not even consider to take as next time I will probably walk out with a shaved head. $370 for pure garbage. Did I mention you have to pay for the blowdry after the $275 haircut???
