I used home depot for the supplies to put down a floating floor in my basement, and now that the room is completely finished, I suggested the idea of a second Christmas tree this year so I could decorate one MY way lol “Two 7-foot trees is excessive and expensive, but if you can get a discount, go for it!” So I was a man on a mission, and the Home Depot key cutter in Stamford, JeffG, introduced me to his shift manager, Yassin. Yassin was sympathetic to my cause, and while he can’t just give away free discounted trees for no reason, he did suggest opening the HD credit card to get $50 off my first purchase. He was also generous with info, explaining that the last shipment for the freshest cut trees would be arriving in 3 days on Friday. I should come back then at 1pm when his shift starts to sign up for the card and get the two trees. I loved that there was no pressure to get me signed up right there on the spot. He was very personable. When I arrived on Friday, the garden area employee, Annie, was very sweet but explained the news trees hadn’t been unloaded yet. I went to look for Yasin, but it was still 12:30 and he hasn’t arrived yet. The morning manager, Harlan, was just as helpful and refused to take Yasin’s commission for the card, telling me I HAD to wait to sign up through Yasin’s employee ID. I respected his honesty. Great guy! He even lined up another of his employees, Jahmelia to call me later in the afternoon as soon as the trees were ready to buy. She did exactly what she promised and called me 3 hours later to say I should come asap to get first pick! So cool! Finally, after I found the best 7ft trees, Essence checked me out with a smile and helped me use a Hd card that hadn’t even arrived in the mail yet. Great service! I can’t say enough about the personal touch that this team delivered. They treated me like family and made sure I got exactly what I needed with a $50 discount. Awesome experience! Yassin and Harlan run a tight ship while being friendly, informative accommodating, and professional… This team rocks! (Update 3 days later: the trees look amazing)

Located conveniently in Stamford, Home Depot proves to be a go-to destination for all things home improvement. As a frequent visitor, I've had the opportunity to explore its offerings and experience its services firsthand. Here's my detailed review: **Store Layout and Organization:** Home Depot's layout is well-designed, making navigation easy even for first-time visitors. The aisles are clearly marked, and products are neatly organized, making it effortless to find what you need. Whether you're tackling a small DIY project or a major renovation, the store's layout ensures a seamless shopping experience. **Product Selection:** One of Home Depot's standout features is its vast selection of products. From tools and hardware to appliances and building materials, they have everything a homeowner or contractor could possibly need. The store stocks high-quality brands, ensuring customers have access to reliable products that meet their needs and budget. **Customer Service:** The staff at Home Depot in Stamford consistently impresses with their knowledge and helpfulness. Whether you're seeking advice on a project or assistance locating a specific item, the team is always ready to lend a hand. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile contribute to a positive shopping experience. **Services Offered:** In addition to its extensive product selection, Home Depot offers various services that add value to customers. From tool rental and installation services to workshops and design consultations, they provide comprehensive support to help customers bring their home improvement visions to life. **Cleanliness and Maintenance:** Maintaining a clean and organized store environment is crucial for an enjoyable shopping experience, and Home Depot excels in this regard. The store is consistently well-maintained, with aisles free of clutter and products neatly arranged. Cleanliness extends to restrooms and common areas,

Buyer Beware!!! Save yourself a nightmare ordering kitchen cabinets from HD Stamford. I ordered $20K of cabinets and I am painfully regretting it. First, the kitchen design department (KDD) is incompetent!!! They don't answer the phone and they don't man their station. Odette, in particular, the most experienced designer (who supervises the others), is constantly MIA from her post. Even the store managers can't find track her down when she's on the clock. Second, HD's top-of-the-line Decora cabinets are horrible!! . . . poorest quality I have ever seen EVER! I have cabinet doors that are warped and doors with rough top-coat finishes as if they missed the final stage of finishing or were finished with a machine full of debris. Regardless, they should not have passed quality control and should not have ended up in my kitchen. Third, beware that the KDD is very controlling of your kitchen specs and details of your order but in the end will be accountable for nothing. They cover themselves by holding up your order until you (the cutomer) signs a paper taking full responsiblity for every item (known and unknown) in KDD's order. Bottom line, this was too important a purchase to trust to HD Stamford. I'm stuck with over $2K worth of leftover trim that KDD insisted I needed but refused to explain. I have tons of unresolved issues including needing replacement doors and crown molding. All my crown came with a crack down the middle. HD refused to give me a credit for the damaged merchandise and insisted I wait 8 weeks for replacements. I have zero confidence in the kitchen design department of Stamford's HD and hope you don't make the same mistake I did. Remove review

UPDATE: STILL NO WINDOW! It recently came in completely smashed! Also they will not refund!!!

I ordered a window from the Stamford, CT home depot store in the beginning of May which had a scheduled receive date of May 20th. On the 24th I called the Stamford store who said it was in but then made it seem as though it wasn't. I called the Fairfield, CT store who checked the order and confirmed it had been received.

I then went into the Stamford store, they tried to look for the window and after about an hour of waiting and various store employees running around they confirmed they had lost the window. They asked me to come back the next day when the receiving manager was in to see if they may know where the window was. I went back the next day and it was the same situation, no one knew what was going on and they confirmed again the window was lost.

Finally Susan Marra came to talk to me and she said she would spend an hour looking and would call me to go over placing a new order and refunding the original order as this is a lot of time lost.

There is an email in the thread below that I received from Susan,

Upon speaking with Stamford Customer Care (CC), they not only seemed annoyed they had to deal with the situation they kept saying they had to email the factory and were waiting for a response, i asked for them to call the factory instead of waiting, to see if they could get answers on expediting the order. I didn't see why the factory could not expedite the order to a maximum of 2 weeks.

I am able to expedite high end mechanical equipment in a matter of weeks when we need to, why is home depot unable to get a window expedited?

The window is now confirmed to be shipping tomorrow and expected to be received on 06/10/2021. I am cautious to be elated as we have been in this situation before. Customer Care initially told me the window was still in production when I called to check today (06/08/2021) they seemed irritated when I asked about the refund. They then called back with the above shipping and receiving information but also would not confirm any refund.

This window has not only taken time from my work schedule with the constant back and forth on the phone and going to the store but it has also set back us moving into our home. The window will be installed in our kitchen and our cabinet installer would not finalize his layout without the window installed. So this has pushed everything out for over a month to where we have been forced to continue to pay rent on top of our new mortgage.

We have spent tens of thousands of dollars with Home Depot during our home renovation. Including all new appliances for our kitchen and a new washer and dryer as well. All of this has happened over one window. I believe it may be best for us to cancel our current orders for appliances and take our business elsewhere. I do not feel comfortable with home depot, not only how they handle orders but how they fix an issue that...
