My experience was nothing short of dreadful. The poor management and mistreatment of employees left a bad impression.
Unprofessional and Incompetent Owner: It is evident that the owner of this Subways franchise has no idea how to run a successful business. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was dismal and disorganized.
Abysmal Employee Treatment: The employees at this Subways were treated as nothing more than disposable objects. I witnessed the manager yelling at the staff, berating them for minor mistakes, and even publicly humiliating them in front of customers. It was appalling to see such disrespect and disregard for the hardworking individuals who make this establishment run.
Inefficient Staffing and Poor Training: It was evident that the employees were overworked and undertrained. They seemed overwhelmed and unable to keep up with the demands of the restaurant. Orders were mixed up, and the service was incredibly slow. It's clear that the owner does not invest in proper training or hire an adequate number of staff members to handle the workload.
Lack of Professionalism: The owner's unprofessional behavior was evident in their interactions with employees. Instead of providing constructive feedback or guidance, they resorted to belittling and insulting their staff. Witnessing this behavior made me question the owner's ability to handle conflicts or manage a team effectively.
Negligence towards Employee Well-being: The owner displayed a total disregard for the well-being of their employees. The A/C in this establishment was not working and employees have to work in extremely hot temperatures.
Hostile Work Environment: The owner's rude behavior permeated the entire establishment, creating a toxic and hostile work environment. It was evident that fear and anxiety prevailed among the employees, stifling their ability to perform their duties effectively. This kind of negative atmosphere not only affects employee morale but also impacts the overall customer experience.
It is disheartening to see such an owner who fails to treat their employees with respect and professionalism. Read moreI recently visited this Subway location and had an extremely unpleasant experience with the staff. There were two female employees, both speaking Spanish. One of them began making my sandwich, and I politely asked her to spread the lettuce to the corners of the sandwich. Shockingly, she turned to her coworker and said, in Spanish, "el pendijo no habla bien," which translates to an offensive term suggesting I don't speak well.
I was taken aback by this unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. When I asked her why she said that, she denied it and claimed she didn’t say anything wrong. Being the only customer in the store, it was clear who she was referring to.
I requested their names to file a complaint, but both refused to provide them. I then asked for the contact information of their manager or supervisor, and they also declined to give it to me.
This happened on December 30th, 2024, at 6:30 PM at the Subway located at 1996 W Main St Bldg #3, Stamford, CT 06901.

Read moreDecently disappointed. Come here often on lunch and it’s never like woah omg! But you know usually not terrible. Today I’m ordering and had let the server know I am severely/lethally allergic to tuna. This being said I like to make sure they use all clean utensils and knives/surfaces Started off well except when I asked her to toast my sandwich again she threw it in and took it out after about 3/5 seconds, then when she went to cut it in half, she picked up the knife and I pointed out that it was dirty. She continued to tell me it’s not dirty and sliced my sandwich. I repeated myself and told her I was able to see the food residue and sauce on it before she even sliced, and she just wrapped up my sandwich and argued with me.
I dropped it paid for my sandwich left and tossed it because I don’t have my epi pen on my and don’t want to take the chances.
