Worst customer service ever! If you have to go to this location and Darrel is working, turn around and leave! Darrel was helping my wife get a new phone or more accurately halfass tried. She was suppose to get a $800 credit for her old phone but since Darrel put in the wrong promotion code her receipt showed a $350 credit, we asked Darrel about it he told us to give it a couple weeks and âit will work it self outâ! We decided to call AT&T to verify what Darrel told us and found out he put the information in wrong. When we went back to the door, Darrel had put a hand written sign in the window he had to do some training, but we saw him leave in his SUV, so we had to wait another hour for him to return. Once he returned he told us he couldnât fix his mistake that we had to go to one of their corporate store which the closest one was 30 miles away. We drove to the other store and we were told Darrelâs store had to cancel the old transaction and of course Darrelâs store had close by now. I called the next day and spoke to Justin/Jason who said he could fix the issue over the phone and would be resolved by the next day. 2 days later we returned to the Corporate location because there is no way in hell we are ever going back to AT&T in Starke Fl, and we were told that the cancellation still has not been processed. I called dimwit Darrel and he told me it takes 2 days for the cancellation that he told me he couldnât do by the way from his store. I told the mental midget that it has been two days already and he then said it could take several days! Neither Darrel nor Justin bothered to apologize for Darrelâs incompetence. Tomorrow it will be over a week since we purchased the phone from the Starke store and have driven over 232 miles going back in forth trying to fix...
   Read moreHad a great experience at this store with Darrel! I was in the store to sign up for the AT&T prepaid service â and to get a new sim card for my Canadian phone to use while in Florida. He was very thorough and quick to get the sim installed and up and running â and gave me the website address to manage my prepaid account. Upon returning home â I found I could not connect to the website as I could not receive the pin that was messaged to me during the sign-up process â so I returned to the store the following day. After several failed attempts to resolve the issue, Darrel had to help other customers that had arrived at the store, so I used the time to call AT&T and try and get some help with the issue. The customer service rep on the phone was unable to help â and suggested I visit a corporate store in Jacksonville. When I got off the phone, Darrel realized that he had had the same issue with a previous customer â and that it seemed to be related to android phones. He switched the sim card to an iPhone he had on site â and managed to get the pin and set up my account with a password that I could access online with my phone or laptop. Hard to find staff that will go above and beyond to try and help the customer â AT&T are very lucky to have him. And as a sidenote â during a phone call with another customer, Darrel offered to stay past closing time to accommodate the person on the line with coming in to the store and getting help to set up a hot spot â that certainly doesnât happen very often!
