My mother-in-law and I go here every time we come to town for doctor appointments. The young family that runs the place does a great job and really relies on and values its regulars. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained though the seating can use some updating. The menu is standard fare with one exception. It is the only place that serves what they call almond fried chicken which is deep fried chicken pieces covered with the gravy that goes over egg foo young. It is amazing. We also enjoy their kung pao chicken what you can get in varying spice temperatures.

Standard Chinese fair. Family owned and the host was playing all the roles, she was so good at multitasking and didn't miss a beat. Menu prices remain fairly standard despite the recent price hikes due to the pandemic. Decent vegetarian options. Love the egg flour soup that came with the meal.

I did not go there. I only go to the Dragon Kitchen in Lyons. I was taking pictures.

It was January 2nd....The man that waited on us had NO smile and NO personality whatsoever. He couldn't speak English very well so we spent most of our time asking him to repeat what he said...He would repeat it but didn't adjust anything so we still didn't know what he said. He acted like he HATED having to wait on us 2 ladies. The place was empty but for a guy who must have been playing the poker machine in the back room. The tea was 99.9% water. Virtually no taste or color. The food was bland & they skimped on the chicken. Vegetables were fine but were VERY sparse and one piece of baby corn was rotten. I had to stop eating when I found the rotten corn but what little chicken in the chicken rice casserole dish was the only thing that tasted good. Would NEVER return. If they stay in business, it'll...

Don’t listen to the negative reviews about this place. The food and service was exceptional! The server informed me there is one cook (the owner) in the back from the time they open until they close. He makes everything from scratch, and you can really tell in the quality of the food. Everything was so colorful and freshly chopped. I love Chinese food that has lots of fresh vegetables in it. It didn’t have that typical “from the box” big buffet style restaurants have. The portions were also huge too! Not sure why people are complaining of the portion sizes. I eat a lot, and for $25, I got 3 different to go servings of food that will feed 2 for 2 separate meals. Nice to find a solid food spot in Stayton. I’ll...
