I had my baby shower here and started getting hassled for the payment 30 days before my event date after I was told that everything had to be payed in full by two weeks before the event. Then I got another phone call about the payment three weeks before the event. I was told that I could not have any confetti or glitter because it’s to hard to get out of the carpet which is understandable but when they said you can’t eat popcorn as if you can’t vacuum popcorn out of carpet that was just ridiculous. Then I didn’t find out until the day of my event that the speakers in the building don’t work which made me have to go home and get my own speakers for music. Now to top everything off it is now six weeks past my event and I still have not received my security deposit back. The contract states that you will get your deposit back within 30 days after your event and still nothing. The excuse that was given to me was that the owner is behind on paying back customers as if that is the customer problem. How can you hassle your customers to pay for their event but the customers can’t get their deposit back within 30 days like that contract states. We hosted our daughter’s 1st Birthday party here over the weekend and were very happy! The facility was clean and had plenty of space for all of our guests to not only sit, but move around and mingle. The kitchen was plenty big enough and provided just what we needed (fridge, stove, sink, etc). Being able to use the outdoor space as well was a huge plus!
