Recently bought a expensive piece of furniture from Hausers. Waited 7 weeks for it to come in which wasnāt a problem but salesman told me 3-4 weeks. When the couch finally arrived I noticed a big chip on one of the legs so once the delivery guys brought the couch inside I inspected it thourougly. After looking for literally 10 seconds I found 2 rips in the fabric. They told me they can take it back but Iām currently expecting my first kid and would not have a couch if they took it back. So I decided to keep it and call the salesman, after telling him my issues he put the owner on the phone. Let me tell you what if this guy treats everyone like he treated me I donāt know how they are still in business. He started yelling at me telling me that itās just a ālittle tearā. I couldnāt believe he just expected me to accept that. He told me they can have a lady come out and repair which I was ok with as long as it looked brand new. I asked him what if itās not up to my standard, would he replace it? Pretty much told me no. I canāt u dersrand how you can sell a customer a ānewā couch with multiple damage and expect them to keep it if itās not perfect. In the end I guess itās my fault for even excepting it on delivery. On one trip I heard the actual flooring sales man rolling out the red carpet for an older white couple. Then this happens again when I'm there. I got no real help or information. I picked out my own carpet and did end up buying it. The guys who installed the carpet cut my staircase walls and wood up. They left 65 nails nesselted in my old carpet at the food of my stairs. Tacks and different sized nails big and tiny, old and new. I cleaned up all the scraps and nails but couldn't believe that they left them. Today I got a nail all the way in my big toe.
