Wild Columbia Salmon — Local services in Stevenson

Horrible...I would put negative if I could. I bought a can of salmon here. Felt a little uncomfortable with the girl getting off the top shelf in really hot weather. The top looked dented when we got back to our room at the Columbia river lodge(which is a wonderful place to stay) we opened it and it popped...we should have never tasted it, but we did. I have had canned salmon before and it was delicious. This salmon was absolutely rotten. I was hoping I wouldn't get sick after I tasted it. The next day I stopped by the place and no one was there. I called the # they had and the owner answered the phone and he was completely rude. I told him what happened and that we were at the store to return it. He said "the girls son is sick" then proceeded to tell me "you know real life stuff". As I was concerned my family might get sick from his food. He could of cared less apparently not real life stuff. He then said email me and I'll send you a refund. After my conversation with him both me and my husband knew he wasn't going to send a check. I have never see any reinbersment or even an apology. I would never ever recommend this place to any friend. It didnt completely ruin our vacation but we had to put a lot of unnecessary...

I was there a couple of weeks ago, the smell from the smoker brought me right to the front door of the shop. Went inside and had a nice chat with the young man Working there, not sure if he was the owner?Anyway, Bought some sugar cured King Salmon as a housewarming gift for my niece in Portland. Now I smoke a lot of salmon and have gotten pretty decent at it, but I've never had anything come close to how good this was. It was sure a hit for a housewarming gift. I can't wait to get back there this spring, I'm going to buy a lot...
