Terrible store. Assistant manager accused me of trying to steal my own packages that were being delivered via UPS even though o had been there the day before . He tried to change his tune after I got upset. The packages were in my husband’s name, who was in the car. I went to the car to get my husband’s ID to prove to him it was our stuff. He followed me to my car and then tried to apologize to my husband - typical gaslighting. The next day, my last package delivery was cancelled by Ace out of spite. Their door has a sign that says they are affiliated with UPS and Google says you can shop and receive packages there. My husband is Black . Typical...

I like this store! The people are more knowledgeable than most you'll run into in these stores when you find them in small towns.. The selection is equally impressive. In addition to hardware and tools, they have a lumber yard at one end of the building. Even though they are the only act in town for either Stevenson or across the bridge in Cascade Locks, they don't act like it. Parking is a bit strange until you figure it out, but after that--smooth sailing....

They need to stock more items pertinent to the area. We go in often and can't find odds and ends that we need. The owner also owns the Carson store. I would like a rural hardware store to be supplied with as many possible items that we would need on any given day since it's a long drive to a city. Perhaps the owner should put a questionnaire out to the City residents to see what they need stocked. The people...
