We had been out for a fun day in the area when the 1st place we tried to eat was closed and then the next was so busy and packed we turned around before we got a table. Feeling bummed and with a little baby so a little stressed also, we choose to get out the Big River Grill we had seen while driving. WE WIN. What a find, right from the moment we stepped in it was warm and welcoming. Staff is amazing, friendly and professional at the jobs at hand. The Atmosphere is perfect, old school hotel vibe with fun decorating, including a bunch of cool skateboards. Food was delicious and fast. Full bar there if that is what you need also. Not this time for us as we have the baby. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, maybe one of the most positive places I have ever reviewed.

One thing I will add is I enjoyed the place because it was Not super packed and busy, I am not a fan of "popular" spots. I want to say thank you to this place but I don't want it to change to become like the other spot at the start. As customers we should look for things and places that we can support not just following the masses. I will be returning for sure Added... This place has a baby changing station in the male's restroom. This is something I have started to notice that many places only have them in the female restroom. This makes it very hard if you are like me a single Dad on his own a lot of the times. It is not fun,...

Located in a vintage building (the details of which are on the menu), this restaurant is easy to find (right on the main road, hwy 14, in Stevenson). Side note, the bathrooms were a bit odd and tiny. We each ordered something different, and each LOVED our meals! Prices were about average for a decent restaurant, and portion sizes were nice. I had the ribeye with galric mashed potatoes and summer veggies. The steak was a bit on the thin side but perfectly cooked and a large circumference (I asked for Med-rare, and it was perfect). The seasoning was so delicious on all of the food, so it was a pleasure to eat all the veg rather than a chore. Lol. Desserts were good too, but my creme brulee was relatively generic. My companion's brownie was huge and she says it was delish. Another side note, I had the Iced Tea and it was the seriously strong kind that I associate with restaurant Lipton's tea... the kind that will put hair on your tongue. Lol. The service was great. Bonus, the restaurant is open later than many others and open on Sundays as well. We will DEFINITELY be going back...

My wife and I visited this establishment once................and only once. While the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were not. Our hostess sat us in a booth right next to the bar.........AND a loud mouth drunk. The least she could have done was ask us if we preferred to have other seating arrangements. Typically, we're very patient folks in eating establishments. We realize we're not the only customers and serving the public isn't the easiest of tasks. We dine regularly, and when we dine during a busy time we expect delays in meal preparation and service. However, this place was not very busy at all. And, once we were seated it was as if the only place which needed tending was the bar. This is regrettable. Not that our $150 bucks is an absolute loss to your business. But, if you do that ten times in a week, you defer to your competition whose goal it is to abide the highest standards, as well as forgo the opportunity to pay at least one wait staff's wages for a month. Merry Christmas. May your new year, 2020, be much better than the close of your...

Home brewed kombucha, grass fed beef, and corned beef Reuben..... Every bit delicious, first of all I have to say our server Michael (I believe that was his name, I am horrible I know) was on point very friendly and took the time to chat with us without neglecting his other tables. This is a great little hole in the wall type of place very comfortable and accommodating. The Kombucha was, one an absolutely pleasant surprise, second wonderfully delicious (if you like that sort of thing and even maybe if you don't typically drink it you should try it here) the food was also great as well, my salad was fresh and more than likely chopped to order, the burger really hit the spot, I couldn't have asked for a better meal. The Reuben was outstanding as well, and is another great option from the menu, it was paired with a berry lemonade which was also incredibly good. Definitely stop in for a bite at this place, as much as we had wanted to come back for breakfast plans changed and we were not able to but it's on the list of places to stop for us.

We ventured into Stevenson after soaking at Carson Hot Springs looking for a place for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the service was very friendly. Menu options were good, and the staff were helpful in recommending their favorites. I went with a spinach salad with grilled ribeye steak, and my friend ordered a chicken club sandwich. They provided us a sample of their African peanut soup, which was fantastic. So much so that we ordered a bowl to share. It's a regular item on their menu on certain days each week. Many other restaurants in town are closed or open later on Mondays. Update... stopped again after soaking at Carson Hot Springs, and our meals were excellent once again. Kudos for being open on a Tuesday when everywhere else's is closed and for keeping up the quality!

My daughters took me here for a Mother's Day breakfast, and I'm so glad they did! We all loved it! We got there right before a huge crowd of people came in...lucky! I loved all the vanity license plates up on the wall as well as the other decor. Our server was wonderful; she was very attentive and friendly, and really gave us good advice about what to order. I had the Salmon Alfredo, one daughter had the meat loaf, and my other daughter ordered the clams. We'd started with the spinach-artichoke dip, which was fabulous. The restroom was clean, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The music was a bit loud, which made conversation not as easy as it could've been, but it wasn't annoying. Seating was comfortable. All in all, I'm so glad we stopped here. I will definitely be back!
