Made an appointment for highlights. Was scheduled with Marie who just graduated from cosmo school earlier this year. Lovely gal. But w wee bit inexperienced. Told her to frame my face with more highlights which I’ve done for decades. I have super healthy hair.

After she dried it, it was not lighter on the crown but darker. So I asked if I could come back for a couple more foils to lighten it up.

I asked the owner if I could have it done free of charge since this basic request was not met. The owner said no. She ran a business. She blamed me and my hair for it not turning out as requested. She said Marie gave me beautiful highlights. Didn’t disagree with the color, just that she said she would frame my face and she didn’t. Owner said I should have requested “Hollywood” which I had never heard of. I’ve said lighter on top or frame my face. Evidently it’s my fault I don’t know the terms. She didn’t acknowledge that she employs a very inexperienced beautician who is still learning. Not Marie’s fault in my opinion. She knew it wasn’t as I asked. But they wanted another $90 for 6 more foils.

Have been here a couple times before and had great service. Just recently wanted and ASKED for Peek-a-Boo highlights and low lights to match my natural hair that I have been growing out for 3 years. I was excited to get my hair done for school and for my birthday. Very upsetting to see the staff and owner unprofessional. I wasn't concerned about the price but they didn't do my hair the way I wanted it! Now my hair is ruined and have to seek REAL professional help to color correct my hair. Never been the type of girl to want highlights plopped right on top of my head. Again, in our option, Walmart does a better job. Going to Indulge Salon in York, PA so they can fix Tina's work. No communication, never had a problem like this before. If you are new, don't bother coming, they also don't know how to brush long delicate hair. Tried being professional about my concern but no one cared. Horrible customer service lol. Here is a before and after. I NEVER had highlights on top of my hair. They do not give you what you wish. Almost $150.00...

Easily my worst haircut in 20 years. I had to get another haircut after this one just to fix the errors.

I went in recently for a haircut and had Maria. I'm not sure if she was distracted or tired but there was so many issues with my hair.

My hair line on the side of my head was trimmed back to stubble on only one side of my face (which I didn't request), leaving it looking ridiculous. The side of my head has one random short spot that stands out (I assume a shorter clipper attachment must have been accidentally used at first). Around my ears was trimmed on one side and not the other and overall the hair was not blended well at all between the sides and top.

The only praise I can give is the back of my neck was done well.

I would've said something at the time of the haircut but the mirror is so far away from the chair that I couldn't see the fine details.
