B. Leigh’s Coffee — Restaurant in Stewartstown

This place has a lot of potential. I have been here a few times but there's stuff that perplexes me as a customer. Why don't they have a board with their offered flavors or specials? When you ask the person at the counter - depending on who you ask - you either get a semi blank stare and an "uhhh" or you get a fast rundown of what syrups they have. It would be smart if they had a board that featured their cinnamon bun latte, for instance. If you didn't ask, you wouldn't know.

If you didn't know to ask about snacks, you'd never know they have them. But they also never seem to have anything ready. I watched Brittany pull out fresh muffins while my friend and I were already seated with our drinks. I bet if she'd offered one to us, either for sale or even just "on the house" as a goodwill gesture it would have gone over very positively. Instead we watched her snack on one. Even some bagged goods, chips, cookies, fresh fruit, would be a nice option. People like snacks with their coffee. That being said - it's very good coffee! Brittany, John, and staff are wonderful! B Leigh’s is a long time dream come true for this wonderful couple. Thought and careful planning went into their dream to build not just a coffee shop, but a community center in the heart of Stewartstown. Every detail was thought of… from decor, to amazing products, the sources for their products, to how it is served with love. The decor is above and beyond, creating a warm & inviting atmosphere. You aren’t just a Starbucks corporate number when you visit B Leigh’s. You’re invited to sit and enjoy good company, read a book, meet a new friend, catch up with old friends. A place to dream ideas of your own. Our 4 year old enjoyed playing with her princess toys while Mommy & Daddy talked on the couch. Can we tell you how rare that is?! We also meet two lovely ladies we would not have otherwise met. And…. check out the super spacious bathroom!!!! It’s beautiful. Along with the private meeting rooms. I wish them decades of success!!! When I buy coffee, I nearly always get it with light ice. I ordered a caramel latte with light ice, whipped cream, and drizzle. So did my husband and daughter. When our drinks were delivered by the owner, we were told that they do not offer whipped cream with their lattes, and there was no whipped cream. What?! It's like saying, "I'm sorry, we don't offer cheese for your burger." And it wasn't because they were out of whipped cream. Apparently the only drink they will serve you with whipped cream is a hot chocolate. The menu is very simple on the wall-- no descriptions anywhere of what you will get. I appreciate descriptions. I would like to try the waffle-- but what is it like? It's a pretty place, a nice place to hang out. I like the art for sale on the wall.
