Malley's Chocolates — Local services in Stow

I stopped at the Stow Malley's this afternoon and bought my favorite chocolates. I am not writing this review for the chocolate, because everybody already knows it is the best. No, this is about the clerk that waited on me. I forgot to tell her that I have a VIP discount card until after she had already rung-up my purchase. It was clearly my fault. She was new and so she struggled with giving me a refund and re-charging my card for the correct amount. I have to tell you, she just could not apologize enough (for something that was not her fault) and she was extremely polite, friendly and gracious. If I had a business, she is exactly the type of person that I would want interfacing with customers. She got it right and I am a happy customer. What a...

The chocolates were a delight. I wish we'd felt a bit more welcomed into the store though. When the staff hardly says a word of welcome to you, but asks the next couple of customers how they can be of assistance and actually assists them, it's hard to find a reason for the 5th star. We love finding special places along our travels, and Malley's is on our list. Maybe our next visit there will be a more welcoming experience. The chocolates are superb and the assortment is plentiful, so it's worth a stroll about the store to find a nice treat for yourself...or a loved one...or for...

Darlene & Carla are wonderful ladies! Malley's has a great duo running their store when they are on shift! Some time back I was going to stop shopping at this location because the customer service was so bad; but then Darlene & Carla showed up on the scene at some point, and they are such a breath of fresh air and I appreciate their service at this location.
