This is a review specifically for Tom, the manager at First Run. I recently got my bindings mounted at First Run Ski Shop a few weeks ago. I rode them 2 times and the back binding ripped off mid run, luckily I was riding groomers. I called to talk to the Manager at First Run, Tom. I told him my situation and he responded with “what do you want me to do about it”. He is probably the most unreasonable and unaccountable manager I’ve ever spoken to. He told me “it happens all the time” and my binding tearing out of my ski is “a common thing”. That statement couldn’t be farther from the truth. I have talked to 10+ ski shops (local and others based in Colorado) and every single one of them say that this should not happen is certainly not “common” as mentioned by Tom. I myself have never heard of this happening, but Tom assured me that with his 25+ years of ski technician experience he has a “better idea of how these things go”. He never mentioned fixing the skis, until I had asked what they would do to rectify the situation. Reflecting upon the quality of work, the fact they marked up my skis too sheet with sharpie for mounting, and my interaction with the manager I wouldn’t let them touch my skis ever again. The ski shop I took them too are unsure if they can mount my boots since the integrity of she ski could be compromised, they were only 2 seasons old. Truly, an unprofessional and unpleasant manager with absolutely no customer service qualities. I’d give negative stars if I could.

This review is specifically for Tom, the Master Bootfitter. Years of experience shined through when we stopped in the store to look at socks. I mentioned my daughter's foot grew some and she was having toe pain in her newer snowboarding boots. The boots were bought local to us and heat molded by the store's fitter. Without hesitating Tom said he will look at it for us. After a couple trips to the back for adjustments, the fit is like butter! Elsewhere people have tried to get us to buy new boots or told my child she needed to break them in more. Tom truly performed some magic in the back with a stretcher. I'll gladly travel to Tom for all our future boot...

Wow! Marcelo should give the customer service training at Stratton. He went above and beyond for my father and I. His customer service skills made the difference between an ok trip and an excellent trip. The weather was terrible. (rain) but he took the time to get our rental skis waxed, gave us great advice and had an awesome personality. He is the definition of the Stratton experience. We came from Florida so we were committed but he made all...
