Bar802 — Restaurant in Stratton

I don't who this owner is! I don't know you can set your own laws to your own establishment. I came in to the 802 with my son who is 19. The bartender was very professional and accommodating. However, he told me it was his owners policy to not allow anyone in under 21. He said, it was to hard for.them to regulate. Well, I guess the owner of 802 should try a new line of work. Ate here during a visit in September 2025. It was too cold for outdoor seating but inside was quaint. Not suitable for larger parties due to size but there were a few tables of 6 present. Prices are common for mountain dining so it was expensive but the food was delicious. My husband had the burger which he thought was phenomenal. I had the cajun chicken sandwich which was flawless. We love Bar 802!!!! We make sure we stop in (multiple times :) ) during our trips up to Stratton. They have a great selection of beer (cans) - quite extensive, something for everyone. Nice menu as well - we got some tacos and they were great. They have a great vibe inside and a great outside seating area as well with a fire pit. Many times during the warmer months there will someone playing music out front. If you are walking thru Stratton village Bar 802 is a must stop in!!! We look forward to our next trip...
