I ordered a large tea with no ice, I get given a small size tea with no ice and I get told that the large tea is made to be sold with ice. Never in my life has any business ever said that to me nickel and dimed over me not wanting ice. All the other kava/tea spots Just serve your tea with no ice. Order a large you get a large order a small you get a small.

Eerie place. I didn't have any kava so can't comment what that's like. But the scenery is dead. Dim lights and shades like there's no one inside. No lounge area. Every other kava place in this area has one. A silent movie on at the bar. Not to mention a gigantic Trump flag hanging in the bar. People go to these places to relax and have an alternative to drinking, not showcase their politics. Island root is much better. They have game night. They have trivia night. They allow you to just hang out....

Context: I'm a seasoned veteran of kava. Drink and results: I had the "kick in the nuts". It's like a quadruple chill in a cup. I felt very centered and serene. Highly recommended place to go after a hard day's errands and/or work. "Doughboy" was my barkeep; Informative, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be stopping by again to try new strains.
