My groom had to wear one of the ring bearers bow ties that I had purchased somewhere else because Bonardis was not capable of helping us. We ordered our tux for groomsmen and the groom months before the wedding. We picked them up three days before the wedding and the groom did not have the purple bow tie as requested. It had a black tie that they said we ordered. (Black tie with everyone else wearing purple, gray pants, brown shoes, brown suspenders.... nothing else black) but that’s fine we had three days before the wedding to get the purple bow tie, miscommunication happens, no big deal, we can fix it. We call, they tell us to come in the next day to pick it up. I go in the next day and was told it is still not there. I stand there with the woman while she calls the Worcester store, she tells them she ordered the purple bow tie, it didn’t come and it was marked urgent. I was reassured someone was personally going to bring it to the store and to come back the next day (our wedding day). Surprise! It’s still not there and now they are even telling us we never ordered it at all! For three days we tried to get the grooms bow tie and they couldn’t make it happen and then out right lied saying we didn’t try. So disappointed. To top things off when trying to talk to them about it we were rudely rushed out of the store. Please save yourself the drama and do your wedding business somewhere else. Little things like this are so easy to avoid and there are plenty of tux shops that are prepared...
Read morePlace is super unprofessional, went and got fitted told Victoria wanted a bow tie with my suit and the date of my prom. Somehow someway she found a way to mess both of those up didn’t end up getting the tux until 3 hours before prom and had a tie! Went to return my tux because I had gotten a text from Victoria stating if I don’t return the tux by 4:30pm I would owe a $20 late fee. Walked in the store at 3:05pm was told I would get a $100 refund because of the lateness. What does Victoria do she gives me an $80 fee. I asked why did I get $20 deducted? She says well you are late the tux was supposed to be returned yesterday. Well today is a tuesday and their website says closed on monday I told her, she says you should’ve called. It is common sense to not call a business when their website says closed. Also why was I not informed by her before Monday or even on Monday so I would know that I was getting $20 off of the refund. Super unethical and unprofessional behavior she couldn’t even have an adult conversation with a 17 year old!! Continued to ignore my questions as well. Is this really how a business...
Read moreI got married in October. My husband and his groomsmen’s had gone well in advance to get all the measurements done. Two suits were ready on time. One of them came with a stained tie and had to be switched out. The other THREE suits were only ready THE DAY BEFORE the wedding. This left absolutely no time to make adjustments to the suits. One of the three suits was still at the Worcester location and the groomsmen had no choice but to pick it up there or he would not have had a suit for the wedding. One of the suits was not sized correctly but what could we do when we were only able to pick it up one day before? Nothing! I would never go back to the Bonardi’s in Sturbridge ever again and I would never recommend this...
