I cannot say enough wonderful things about Long Arms Quilting Co and the breathtaking T-shirt quilt Mick created in honor of my Mom and Dad. From the very beginning, she treated this project with the care, creativity, and compassion it deserved.
Using shirts collected from my parents’ many adventures and travels, Mick crafted a quilt that is not only beautifully made, but also deeply meaningful. Every square holds a memory, and the way they arranged and stitched it all together brought those memories to life in the most stunning way.
The butterfly stitch pattern she used is absolutely beautiful — delicate yet strong, just like the lives the quilt honors. It added the perfect touch of grace and movement, and made the whole piece feel alive with love and remembrance.
Mick paid incredible attention to detail throughout the entire process. From fabric choices to stitch choices, it was clear she approached this quilt not just as a project, but as a tribute. Her thoughtfulness and craftsmanship brought a level of artistry and heart that you would not get in one of those warehouse t-shirt quilt making factories.
This quilt isn’t just a blanket — it’s a legacy piece. It tells the story of two incredible lives lived fully, and I will treasure it forever. Thank you, Long Arms Quilting Co, for honoring my parents so thoughtfully and for creating something so personal and priceless. You’ve given me more than a quilt — you’ve given me comfort, connection, and a daily reminder of the journeys they shared.

Read moreThere genuinely aren’t enough kind words that i could say that would be able to truly describe just what an incredible experience i had with the long arm quilting company. For reference In November i decided to take on my first sewing project ever, a very important quilting project for my Father in law who served 26 years as a Colonel in the Marine Corps quickly turned into cold feet and with time running out i turned to mick for urgent help. Mick not only got back to me immediately she was kind careful to understand exactly what it was that i needed from her and although we had set a date for me to pick up the quilt that she so absolutely beautifully fixed up what needed, batted, backed and longarmed my quilt an entire week earlier than expected. The quilt was wrapped in a gorgeous box with her own beautiful emblem on top not to mention the extra length mick went to include things such as washing instructions and even a scent sachet for if we were to store the quilt. This woman and her company deserve a million stars in my book, if you’re looking to make a quilt or finish a quilt you absolutely should consider the long arm quilting company because i will...
Read moreWhat a wonderful experience working with Long Quilting Co.! Prompt to reply to my questions and concerns. Very kind and caring about what exactly I was looking for and offered suggestions from her vast experience.
We live 15 hours away and would be returning home in about three weeks when I took my quilt top to her. We have family that lives in the area and could pick the quilt up if it could not be done before we left. She knew that I wanted to do the binding and I was prepared to have a short amount of time to accomplish that task. She notified me that my quit was ready to be picked up six days after I dropped it off! It was beautifully quilted and cared for with added touches! Very personable!
This was my first experience of having someone else quilt something for me!! I will not hesitate to send a quilt top to her in the future if I'm not able to find the same standards back home!
Thank you Mick, our daughter loves her quilt! I loved everything about my experience with Long Arms...
