Spice Wing Sugar Hill — Restaurant in Sugar Hill

Updating the previous review I left from a couple weeks ago. The young gentleman that works here reached out after my previous review to apologize for the experience that I had previously. We had a good conversation and I agreed to give this place one more shot, and while he offered to make amends for the previous experience I politely declined so that the review I would leave after another attempt would be able to be made without bias.

The young gentlemen at the store is named Andy, and I will post here that his dedication to serving the customers in that store is top notch.

He was very communicative and had the order ready on time. The food was great, chicken tenders cooked very well, crispy and tender on the inside.

The only negative that I would leave is simply that the store's A/C is out, Andy said that it doesn't bother him but I would hope that the people that he reports to that may see this updated review would do right by Andy and have the A/C repaired for his working experience to be more pleasant. Please understand that he is a fantastic employee and deserves additional recognition for his dedication to fantastic customer service and his willingness to reach out to customers after a poor experience to listen to customer concerns and offer a solution if possible....

I will admit I had high hopes for a new restaurant for our community, unfortunately the ball fell short.

The good:. The fried Oreos we pretty good as were the boneless teriyaki wings. The fry portion was huge!

The bad: Sadly, about everything else. The wings are quite tiny especially for the price (pic attached). The flavors for both the buffalo and lemon pepper were both meh also. l get that it is fast food wings, but still very underwhelming. Also the fries are a soggy mess and just not good at all. This may be due to it being a to go order, however, I've managed to have crispy fries from most fast food places so the hype on the fries was quite disappointing. They also forgot to include our dipping sauces. All of them.

The funny:. If you're looking for a description of food in their website, you can bypass that. The description of every entree on their website describes a chicken sandwich. The same chicken sandwich 😀

Im going to hope that maybe it's because they have only been open a month or so but that's why I didn't go at opening and will likely stuck with zaxbys across the street if I'm looking for some fast food wings.

I cannot imagine this will be there very long without changes so I'll keep an eye out. Hoping for...

Edited with a resolution Totally disappointed. I walked in and placed our order at 1:30 pm the afternoon of the Super Bowl for pickup at 6 pm. I got there at 5:55 PM and was told it was almost ready. 6:10 pm I walked back up and asked about the order, was told 5 more minutes. I watched the girl behind the counter hand a large order to another couple and they walked out. Five minutes later they walked back in and said it wasn't theirs. I waited in line again to talk to the girl at the counter and finally reached her at 6:35 pm. I pointed to the now cooling order and asked her if it was mine. She read off the order and sure enough, it was. I asked her for at least a partial refund since the order was cold, other customers had left with it and returned it so there was no way to ensure that it wasn't contaminated and you know what I was told? She would call me. Pretty sure that were required to remake the food, but the place was packed with unhappy people like me. We will not be returning.

Edit: I was able to talk to the manager, Zane. He took care of us by refunding our purchase. We returned again tonight (2/11/20) and Zane was working. He took care of us again and made it right. He had earned out...
