Restaurant Los Agaves — Restaurant in Texas

I have eaten at this Restaurant several times. The Restaurant has always been clean and the staff friendly. The foods I have ordered there were delicious. Once I ordered chicken enchiladas, charro beans and rice. It was very good but I couldn’t eat it all. I took the rest home. Another time I ordered crispy beef tacos, and my husband ordered fajitas mixed beef and chicken with all the trimmings. All of what we ordered was very tasty. I think that day we both liked the fajitas the best. The meat was cooked to done, but it was juicy and tender. The next time I went there I had a friend with me. We decided to get the fajitas (mixed chicken and beef) with all the trimmings. The fajitas were so delicious, the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Everything we ate was very, very delicious. The tortillas may have been made there, they tasted so fresh. We really enjoyed eating to our fill that evening and then took the leftovers home. I will not hesitate to eat there again. It’s not a fancy place, but it was clean every time I was there, the staff friendly and the food has been delicious. It’s not as expensive as the big name Mexican Restaurant’s -...

I love coming here but last night was the worst... You need to train your waiters to be more on top of their work.. At my table we only had one silverware and not 2.. You had no horchata but you waiter said if I wanted to wait 5 mins. I said yes and my mom order first and I got my food first. No totillas for my mom menudo til we ask for some. When food was brought waiter didn't say anything about my drink. I had to ask for it. I had to tell her get out of my face and bye and let me eat my food.. Because she went around to serve others but not once she came by and ask if we need anything else. We had to ask. Also the cook but be new and slow for the waiters ro have their arms on top where food comes from. There where more people in front of us and they still had not be serve and we had ate and paid for our food. To go food took for ever for some people. It will be a while before I can go back. Thanks to the waiter that speaks English...

The restaurant food is pretty good. But I had a pretty bad experience. Ordered over the phone a couple a plates. They said my order would be ready in 20 minutes got there in thirty and order wasn’t ready. Waited an additional 20 minutes. Got my order went home just to find out 2 of the 3 plates were completely wrong. Called the restaurant. They agreed to exchange them but obviously I had to take them he order back. So that meant that I had to drive an additional 40 minutes. (20 in 20 back) so I asked if we can get any source of credit. Not full credit but any would help since it wasn’t our fault. They agreed. 5 minutes later they called back and said that they were not going to do that. Manager orders. So pretty much a waste of $65 dollars. So just check your order before taking off and expect the wait....
