When we rented this place we were told that it slept six people, that was not the case. Also it advertised that it was a 300 yard walk to the slope. That also was not true. In all actuality it is almost a mile walk on dangerous terrain. It toke my boyfriend and his friend two hours to get to the slopes. It was a one bedroom condo with a pull out couch. That would have been fine except for the fact that the pull out couch was completely flat and all metal springs, which were all poking up.There was no padding what so ever so my boyfriends friend slept on metal all night long. The queen bed in the bedroom however was extremely itchy and it felt like we were begin bitten by bugs all night and could not sleep. It was also 90 degrees in the condo and you were not allowed to touch the Thermostat. I was really disappointed that this place was not what was advertised and what we were told by the employees. We called the following morning after our first stay to talk to someone about the issues we were having and to see how we could get them fixed. We ended up speaking to the owner and she was extremely rude right off the bat before we could even explain what was going on. She never offered a solution to fix our problems she told us to pack or stuff and come check out and we can go where we want. We came down to the front desk to check out and she proceeded to be rude. She said she didn't want to deal with us and would not give us a refund for our night. She stated that the pull out couch is what a pull out couch should look like. My boyfriend tried to tell her the problems so at least they could be fixed for the next person. She got angry and told him to get out and came out from behind the desk and pushed him out the front door. This is the worst experience I have ever had with management in my entire life. A month or so before we received a call and said the gas fireplace was inoperable and they had to replace something due to draft problems. I heard nothing else about it and was told on check-in that it was fine and the fireplace worked as of that mornings check. When we arrived in the room, it was still inoperable, not a deal breaker.
After the first night, we noticed a few irregularities as in MICE. Some of our dried goods(bread, chips, etc.) had the plastic corners chewed off-still not a deal breaker, we put everything in the microwave and it was sealed. That second day our 11 year old son was watching television and scooted the love seat back and noticed there was an outlet on the wood floor. It was just hanging with no cover and wires exposed. There was an outlet plug, but as a former electrician, knew this wasn’t up to code.
On check out my wife talked to the front desk about these issues and they wanted nothing to do with it and hurried her right along. Not great customer service if you ask me. No sorry’s, just have a nice day, thanks for your money! Needless to say, over $1k we will not rent from this...

She called later in week with attitude. Said she was not under my time frame to call me. Never said I'm sorry for your trouble. Just wanted to jam her perspective on customer. Dereka does not care about the customer, just getting her money. Actually told me I would be better off staying somewhere else. If you have problems with your unit beware. Also they fine you $100 if you don't empty trash from your unit(after you're already paying a cleaning fee.) I want to state we did nothing wrong and only wanted an enjoyable stay.
