Update: So the place is pretty crappy to live at. The office doesn't accept payments, you have to use their useless online portal. You live here? Well, you can't receive packages here. Evidently, they can't hire people to be trusted with packages, and they are filling out leases with our personal details. The post office assigned to this complex? It's the absolute worst in Las Vegas. Allocate at least 3 hours to get your package. The pool is absolutely disgusting and it will be closed the first random inspection it gets because the cyneric acid is over 100ppm, which means the pool has to have chlorine over 10ppm, with chlorine being less than 10ppm... the chlorine is useless and does nothing. This means the pool is not safe for use. Lets just say the pool was actually properly maintained instead of picking the cheapest guy who does the cheapest job, the pool also no longer has adult only hours (6pm-close of pool at 8pm) so it's become the complex babysitter. Squatters EVERYWHERE because THERE IS ZERO SECURITY. Is there security for the complex? Sure, but between 5pm-6am, they sit in their office in far south Las Vegas, where it typically takes 1½-2 hours for them to respond. So, criminals SCOUR the property at night. More than half the apartments being rented by the new staff have more than 13 people living in 2 bedroom apartments. They have no right asking (ASKING) for a penny more than $700 for a 3 bedroom here. The appliances are straight out of 1999, efficiency and everything. The floor is basically wallpaper. The only internet service you can get here is centurylink for $60 a month FOR 40mbps speeds. They have zero intention of allowing Cox Communications to run service because they want to offer "free cable," which is basically OTA channels run through a coax. It may be 2024, but living here is like living in the worst parts of 2001.
The office is full of soft reps that cant handle a bad word like they haven't lived in Vegas for more than 5 minutes. Stout Mamagement is absolute trash. This place is trash and full of felons. There are hotels in the area that are MUCH better bang for your buck than this place.
If you see a 5 star review within the last 6 months with new management, know it's friends and family of the front office that never lived here, and they offer money to their friends and family for 5 star reviews.
Old review: New management is really friendly with me. They have been fixing a lot of things that have been broken before I lived here, getting rid of dead trees, putting in native plants to the region. They are very upfront and have excellent communication efforts to ensure they understand a situation. I am not too thrilled living right on Nellis, but I'm happy the new management is here to improve what was essentially a train wreck. I hope they have the pool...
Read moreThis was the worst living experience I have ever had to endure in my life. Yeah sure they make it easy to get into these apartments and they are cheap. But nobody tells you about the roaches I donât know about the other buildings but building 3 is severely infested with three different species of roaches my daughter who is allergic to roaches was in constant agony. The pest services offered every other week seem to do nothing but make it worse. The roaches were everywhere in all the cabinets on the ceiling, in the oven under the refrigerator and no amount of cleaning would get rid of them their were clusters of hundreds of roaches living behind my furniture the amount of stuff I had to leave behind due to not wanting to bring the infestation with me is ridiculous I had to leave beds, furniture, luggage, work out equipment the list goes on and on. When I initially moved in there were many broken things that werenât right like patio screen door never closing and the screen having a large cut in it the tubs were dirty when we moved in and the paint was peeling off the walls. Needless to say we couldnât live under these conditions anymore and broke the lease well funny how all the things that werenât right when moving in they are now trying to charge us for itâs comical nothing in that apartment is worth $8,000 they are tripping for a unit that is the equivalent to a rat trap project apartment. These apartments need to be condemned I wouldnât recommend anyone to live here. Renter beware. They need to pay me for the pain and suffering of living with a known roach infestation that is as severe as it is. Itâs not worth it trust me. Iâm so traumatized from the roaches that I almost forgot about the 500 stray cats in the complex, the homeless people and crackheads that hang out, the ghetto world star brawls, the tow company that constantly putting tow away stickers on cars, and the heavy police presence. Again I do...
Read moreUpdate December 2024: Management continues to get worse. They turn the water off for maintenance, but only at high use times, like 8 in the morning on a Tuesday when youâre in the shower, or 11 AM on a Saturday when youâre in the middle of laundry. Still no packages accepted on site. Maintenance takes weeks to accomplish anything. There is no on site security like there was under old management, this used to be a safe complex and now itâs crime filled. There is no visitor parking, what little there was turned into âfuture residentâ parking (as if one small complex needs twenty spots for the office)
This review is from 2023, update September 2024: new management has asked everyone to leave good reviews. Iâll leave a good review when they allow package delivery again. Tired of spending hours at the post office that is only open from 9 to 12 every Saturday.
October 2023: In June a maintenance man walked on the building roofs, not long after it rained and our ceilings leaked. Weâve been here almost three years and never had issues in the past. It has rained several times since and even though they claim the roof has been fixed, we get new leaks every time it rains. Our ceilings inside are molding, there is water bulging out behind the walls, and they have made zero attempts to...
