So I have gone to this nail salon on and off for years. I love the way they do my nails however, the service is not that great. I actually stopped going because they made me feel very uncomfortable making comments about me and laughing (probably about my weight. They would say something and the other girls would look over and giggle so I knew they were making jokes. for this reason I stopped going. Recently I returned with my granddaughter for a pedicure. We walked in and asked for two pedicures. The lady that greeted me said yes but them she looked at our feet and said hold on. Now I will admit that It had been a few months since my last pedicure which is not like me at all but I simply have been too busy. So with that being said my polish was chipped and a couple of nails were chipped as well from hitting them on the bedframe. The lady returned and said yes we can do. She put us in pedi chairs and started the water. We both went to put our feet in and she said no out of water to me. so I put my feet up. After a few minutes they turned the water off so I proceeded to put my feet into the water, and she ran over and told me no put your feet up. At this point she proceeded to take her phone out and take pictures of my feet. I was shocked, embarrassed, and at a loss for words. she took the photos and went up to the front and showed the ladies up there (where they all stood around in a circle looking at the pictures and talking/laughing. My granddaughter laughed at me and said maybe they are going to do a before and after. I said no I don't think so I just think they are being rude. now, I did not want to ruin the experience for my granddaughter so we sat continued on with our pedi's. The lady that came over (not one of the ones that were gathering around my picture) was very nice and did a beautiful job on my pedicure. My granddaughter however, received a 8 minute pedicure. (It was basically a polish change). At the end nobody took and "after" picture of my feet so they just wanted to look at my before toes and make snide comments to each other and laugh about it. I have been getting my nails done for many years and I myself was a nail tech many years ago. I would NEVER, EVER treat a customer like that. It was very embarrassing and absolutely unnecessary my feet were not even that bad except for the broken nail and chipped polish. As I stated previously this is not the first time that they have been rude and disrespectful. Rest assured that is the LAST time we will be visiting here. It's too bad because they do a nice job but they most certainly gave my granddaughter a half ass pedicure and made us feel very uncomfortable throughout the process. There is plenty of other salons around that do a good job and treat their clients right so I personally will be taking my...
Read moreI’ve been a customer here for about 3-4 years. They do a great job usually & the prices are fair. I’ve always had good experiences here until today.
*Special Note- Tim and Anna are great nail technicians. They are pleasant and very talented. Tim does any design that I find online& he can draw them by hand!
Today, I had the worst experience. I was treated rudely and with disregard. It started my pedicure with one of the owners, a man. (Don’t know his name). His energy was irritated . He was rushing me to pick a color. I showed him what I wanted online & asked which color could match it, he ignored me. I asked again & he was rude & says just pick a color from the nail selection he had given me (DND sample nail colors ). I asked his wife who sat nearby & she recommended a color, funny bunny & told him he could add glitter.
When he added the coats, the color looked more pink than the white color I wanted . I told him it didn’t look like the pic & what I wanted. He said something in another language and then just walked away.
He didn’t tell me someone else was going to finish up.
Then his wife came to finish up my toes. I asked if i needed to find another color & she said she’s trying to get the color I wanted. I said ok. I expressed my feelings that the guy was rude and disrespectful and I didn't appreciate it . She said nothing, as if she didn’t hear me . She IGNORED me! Then talked to another nail tech in another language.
I was fuming. I felt so disrespected and disregarded. She could have responded and just said I’m sorry he treated you that way & walked away without letting you know someone else would finish up.
When it was time for my manicure, I asked who’d do that for me. I told her that her husband can’t finish up & she said ok, Tim can. Then her husband walked toward us & she says he’ll finish up . I said he can’t do my nails. She yelled at me. “I explained twice that Tim will help you.”
We exchanged words. I let her know it wasn’t okay for her to yell at me. She told me I was mean to her & nothing she did was satisfactory.
Not true!
I spoke up for what I wanted & wanted acknowledgment of being poorly treated.
Horrible experience. I WILL NOT return. I will spend my money where I’m respected and valued.
Btw- Tim is excellent and I will miss his services. Today he did my nails & redid my toes. He did exact what I wanted without issue. It was simple for him. He did the silver sparkling look today. Be was kind & helped me calm down . I was almost in tears. SMH 🤦🏾♀️
Previously, he did the red design and the blue the blue was my favorite. Tim...
Read moreAfter years of going to this salon, I am leaving. I feel as a loyal customer, there should be some sort of lead way when it comes to certain things, especially if I never complain about anything. I got my nails done by one of the owners and within one week broke 4 and chipped one. These were my real nails by the way, so imagine how disheartening it was to break something I’ve spent a long time growing and caring for. When I went to the salon to speak to the owner, she informed me that the nail tech does a great job and if I wanted it “thicker” I should of said something. Isn’t that why I’m paying you? Because you are the nail specialist? I didn’t make a fuss about it, but I think even an apology would have made me feel better, not blaming me. That was strike one. Strike two occurred when I returned a few days later to get my nails done with my normal nail tech, Tim, who is awesome by the way. I asked the owner on the break down of pricing for my nails... $47 seems like a lot and I’m trying to budget better. She said “$37 for short nails, we add $5 if it’s longer $42 (mine are long) and $47 for coffin shape. I specifically asked, “So square is cheaper?” To which she answered “yes.” Great I thought, I could at least go square to save a little cash. I like coffin. I went square and when I got to the register she said “that will be $47” I said you said square was $42... she responded with let me go talk to the nail tech. She comes back and says “your nails are long... $47.” “Okay, but you just said $42, and I went square when I like coffin and now you’re saying it’s the same price?” She giggles and said “I guess.” Pause... if she’s the owner... what’s to guess about????? It really put the nail in the coffin for me (no pun intended) I already found another shop highly recommended for $25 for the same service. You will keep losing clients gallery nail spa.... keep up the...
