La Brasa Grill - Sawgrass — Restaurant in Sunrise

Omgoodness! How have I not tried this before?? I ordered the boneless grilled chicken and it was nothing short of heavenly, I just wish there was more onions. I struggled not to just gobble the whole thing down and proceeded to try and make it last the night, eas still beyond bummed when it was gone. We also ordered the fried chicken sandwich and that was also fantastic, I'll be ordering that again for sure. My husband ordered the rotisserie chicken breast and said that was good also. For our sides we had the yuca, black beans, cilantro rice and plantains. The black beans were good but the yuca could've been a bit crisper and needed salt. The cilantro rice was good but the plantains were bomb. We also ordered the chicken empanadas. The crust was nice and flaky but extremely oily and the empanadas themselves could've had a lot more meat, the centers were about a bite and we tossed the excess crust since it waa so greasy. The ONLY thing we didnt like was the tres leches. 3 milks, its supposed to be wet and yummy goodness but it was missing the milk part. I'd go back every day for the grilled chicken...

People DO NOT eat here and if you do expect unfresh food and a BAD attitude when confronted. They give piping hot sauce thrown in styrofoam containers (cheap) for it to soak into your food and in my case melt completely through the container, where all the contents were alll over my bag. You have to wait for extended periods ... as they claim food is cooked to order but when you receive your order after waiting 25 to 30 min....the order is WRONG... why is it wrong??? ... ill tell you why because NO ONE in the restaurant speaks English and half of the time they have no idea what you are saying. So bad that they CHARGED MY CARD TWICE... and then when they realized the mistake GAVE ATTITUDE about that. I had to leave my home to return to the location to get my missing items and try to discuss the refund of the double charge. This is repeated and again when you try to get what you paid and waited for bad attitude. Extremely poor service at this location. No need for the store owner to make some blanket "we will do better comment" under my review ... your employees are rude and the food is...

So there are many names that I can give for the so called "chicken noodle soup". For example: bell pepper soup, Broth with peppers, etc...The chicken noodle soup had more peppers than actual noodles or chicken. Anyone who knows if your not feeling well specifically abdominal discomfort or digestive in balance that chicken noodle soup would be the go to soup of choice..which made me ponder when I reached home that both soups I purchased had massive amounts of red and green peppers. Most people should know if they don't, that when feeling abdominal discomfort bells peppers are a bloating agent that does not help the digestive system. I specifically asked what was in the soup and response was "noodles, carrots, potato and main ingredient..YOU GUESSED IT CHICKEN!" but not the case..the 5 little pieces of chicken and the 6 noodles hardly describes a chicken noodle soup! I took the "L" and chalk it up as I'm better off with Campbell's or Progresso. The soup was tasteless, water and peppers I could made that myself without spending...
