Ngl use to have better meat back in the days but the last three years they have downgraded from the freshness to the customer service and rude cashiers that act like sombody is forcing them to come to work and then the meat is very important to rotate and throw away not keep and change dates then the veggies are not fresh either pealing the bad parts and keeping them to sell when it clearly need to be thrown away CABBAGE Especially it hold water and bacteria needs exactly that to flourish the freezers are no good instead of throwing away the bad meat when the freezer broke they still sold it and me not knowing at the time I brought it and got sick from it this is why I have to write this review NEEDS A SHUT DOWN AND UPGRADE DEEP CLEAN NEW APPLIANCES (cooler freezer) to keep meat at safe temperatures need to move the everything out the veggie and fruit and mop under WITH BLEACH there to control the bugs GET THE CORNERS or I’m taking my 800 a month to bravo down the street GET IT TOGETHER PLEASE!!! We need freshness with the employees then management need to do better also poppy is okay but needs his employees to clean around the store take the register use that company time for something Thats going to make the store more money and actually have people coming to shop yes you make lose some money shutting down for a couple days to take everything out and clean kill the bugs air out put in better clean freezer if it not broke take it outside and clean it with BLEACH AND SOAP THEN WE AS CUSTOMER WOULD BE MORE HAPPIER cause I want to keep shopping here but if this doesn’t change I’m...
Read moreI’ve shopped here for almost 20 years. Used to have great prices on produce , but things have changed. They now have Publix prices for things like grapefruit. For example, $1.59 for a smallish and not super fresh one. Not too many years back , grapefruit were 3 for a dollar or 2 for a dollar during the season here. They had huge tubs of them. This year, the price never went down and stayed around $1.59. No more tubs- only a small display, with many of them shriveled as they don’t sell so fast at that price.,$ 8.99 for a bag of 5! Walmart sells them for $5.99. They used to have really nice, friendly produce managers , but now have an unfriendly , rude woman in charge. They have discounted produce, but often times the fruit , tomatoes etc. are fermenting and molding in the bags full of juice. Stuff that is really garbage is being charged for. I have found that they don’t carry things I e bought for years, and prices have gone up so much on items I used to buy. I used to buy most all my produce here, but now find it much cheaper at Walmart or Aldi . Groceries are usually higher in price than in Walmart etc. , and are more limited as the store specializes in meat and produce as well as a huge stock of rice , beans etc., and they carry a more limited stock of canned goods and other things like that . They always had wonderful cashiers that had been there for years and always knew you. Lately, it seems like there is always someone new being trained and a big turnover. I like Neighbors and want to see them do well, but they do need to make some improvements to keep their...
Read moreI shop here for the good prices and decent produce, but I’m done. This is the second time I’ve come in because of something I saw on their own Instagram ad, only to be told the price isn’t what they’re advertising. Today it was chicken leg quarters for $.69/lb — CLEARLY stated in the ad. No fine print. No conditions.
I go to the counter, and the guy tells me it’s $.99/lb. I show him the ad — he still says no. I go to the manager up front. He makes a call and then suddenly it’s “Oh, it’s for the 10-pound bag of frozen chicken.” Really? Then say that in the damn ad. Don’t try to bait people in with false info and then change the terms when they show up.
It’s called false advertising, and it’s shady as hell. People are struggling right now — every cent matters — and you’re out here playing games over basic groceries. If you’re not going to honor your ads, don’t post them.
You’ve officially lost me as a customer. And I’ll make sure everyone I know hears about it too — and files complaints, because this isn’t just annoying, it’s wrong.
To add- I will be contacting the State Attorney General’s Office, The Federal Trade Commission, the bbb and the Local Consumer Affairs or Department...
