Food Lion — Local services in Surf City

Not sure what you guys are doing Surf City F.L. but I shop here often and was disappointed today in being over charged on my bill two Panera Bread Lunch items. I tried calling your store but your number is not valid... so then I call corporate and I'm on hold for 20 minutes and they ended my call...now I am stuck with going back into the store tomorrow so that I can get a refund which I'm hopeful that you will oblige; Pls fix your number on your receipts. Please? Not the 1st time the overcharging has happened either, I constantly find I am overcharged for things; Especially back in the day at your Hampstead store which I had to stop shopping at... Buyer must be very aware and cognisant of what prices they are paying for what they are buying!! It should not have to be that hard to buy groceries and be charged the price that you tell me they are...

My only complaint about this store is probably that the produce isn't always the best. You can usually find all of the basic stuff, but there have been a few times that I've had to go elsewhere for onions that didn't look sickly and bruised. But I'm picky about my produce, so maybe that's just me. As far as everything else goes, this place is great. The service is always beyond reproach, very friendly and helpful and efficient. The meat selection and prices are terrific, though I wish they carried tilapia (fresh or frozen) that didn't originate in China. I used to do water quality testing for several international tilapia farms that export to the US and I can tell you that I will NEVER again eat tilapia farmed in China. American, Colombian, Chilean, and Mexican tilapia farms are the way to go, in that order. Though fresh and local is...

i had gotten sushi last night from food lion and it was there California roll and my 2 best friend had gotten some sushi from there and it’s was another California roll and a spicy california roll and when we had all tried it for the first time from food lion because we always get are sushi somewhere else the texture was bad for sure tasted i fresh the cucumber was a different color then it should have been the crab was mushed up and felt like sand in your mouth and it tasted so un fresh all of ours did the only good thing about the sushi last night was he soy sauce and the ginger that’s it i will never be getting sushi from food lion it was a waste of money and i give it a 1 star rating but it don’t ever deserve a rating so...
