The Paper Store — Local services in Swampscott

I don't usually take the time to write negative reviews but this time I'm not just going to write a review but I'll be contacting corporate. I go to the Paper Store on average of 3-5 x a month. I've never had bad experience in the store..quite the opposite. The people that work there are usually friendly enough. On Saturday i went in and there were 2 girls that I'd never seen before so i assume they're new. I didn't get their names but I'll go in tomorrow to get them so i can include them in my letter to corporate. They were both uninterested in their jobs, hadn't a clue what customer service means and as rude as it gets. I won't be going back in as long as they are there. If i don't hear back from the company then i can assume they sanction that type of service. There was an incident but it's too long to write about. As i said at the start of this post i usually only take the time to write good reviews so for me to be this po'd i can assure you, the reader, it was terrible...

It’s called The Paper Store, but if you’re looking for paper products - stationery, wrapping paper, tissue paper, note cards, et cetera - don’t bother coming here. Their selection is comparable to what you would find at a drugstore or Walmart. (Target has a much better selection of tissue paper.) Had to laugh that in a store that calls itself a paper store, all of the paper goods were in the very back of the store. The front 2/3 is full of junky gift items primarily made in China. It’s fine if you are looking for run of the mill gift items or cards (it’s basically a Hallmark store) but there’s nothing...

Love the paper store. Very frequent shopper. the beverly location is always helpful and you don’t feel like you are a bother when you have questions but swampscott is closer and not as welcoming/ helpful. I am always able to find gifts for any occasion and at great prices. How ever I am completely shocked that you are unable to return an item (clothing) and swap it out for the same brand and same size but just...
