Merrow Boutique — Local services in Swansboro

I have shopped at Merrow many times over the past three years, whenever my family is in town vacationing. Regardless of the season, their offerings are always carefully curated and tastefully displayed. A good variety of sizing options and each store clerk I have encountered has had a good eye for recommending styles that would flatter my petite, middle-aged figure. Thanks to this, I now have 4 or so dresses from the shop that I consistently receive compliments on, and which have all held up nicely and are relatively unique pieces. Not to mention a very versatile genuine- leather tote, and some vegan (non) leather wristlets.

While it is certainly true that you may be able to find similar merchandise for a lower price elsewhere, that’s not really the point of a shop like Merrow. Rather, Merrow is a consistent example of a storefront that offers just as much inspiration as it does inventory. A discerning shopper with the ability to distinguish between merchandise that can be found elsewhere and perhaps at a notably lower price, from the more unique pieces that truly are a good return on value, will not be disappointed!

My family and I will be in the Swansboro area again this weekend and I’m looking forward to stopping by to see what Merrow has to offer...

What a lovely boutique! I was in Emerald Isle for a wedding in 2022 and found Merrow while out exploring the area. I don’t know that I’ve ever found a boutique where I’ve wanted to purchase more Items😂. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of merchandise was excellent. I visited in the spring and they had an excellent selection of women’s Clothing with everything from chunky sweaters to sexy mini skirts & crop tops, as well as a solid selection of jewelry.

Two of my favorite sweaters and one of my favorite date night skirt outfits are from that shopping trip at Merrow. Funnily or embarrassingly… Suppose it depends on your perspective, but after I left I realized there was a pair of earrings that I really loved that I had not purchased. So I gave them a call and asked If I’d be able to purchase them over the phone and have them shipped to me as I was in town visiting from out of state. The ladies were fabulous and shipped the pair off immediately along with a very sweet thank you card, expressing appreciation for my time in their shop. Absolutely believe these reviews. My 78 year old mother was just CONNED by a sales associate for a gift saying the $140 bag was ACTUALLY LEATHER. Not even close, the cheapest please her I have EVER seen. Google lens your things people because I was right. How you are allowed to be in business and lie straight to the consumer is disgusting.
