I love when I go places and think immediately, âI canât wait to leave a positive review for this place.â My friend and I decided to do a spur of the moment activity and landed on Peace Love & Pottery. Neither of us had ever been, but I have to say, our expectations were BEYOND met. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a very sweet lady, who we learned, was simply working there as a hobby, and doesnât even take home a paycheck. She welcomed us with a big smile, gave us instructions on how things worked, and was so excited we were first timers. My friend and I browsed the pottery selections to paint, and there was so much to choose from and the prices are incredibly reasonable. They have seasonal items, piggy banks, plant holders, mugs, bowls, jewelry holders and containers, plates, decor, I mean this place had everything. It was so hard to choose! You then go over to a separate counter (where we, again, were greeted by some of the sweetest ladies ever) to pick out paint colors and brushes. They have a wide variety of paint colors and even some special glass colors too! They have cute little tables to sit at while you paint, they play upbeat music, and anytime you need a refill on paint, clean water, or general assistance, you are always helped with a smile. I never once felt like I was a burden or inconveniencing anyone and I probably asked for a refill on the same color six times. My friend and I accidentally stayed until after they were technically closed and not once did they seem annoyed by this, they never tried to kick us out, they even told us they donât expect everyone to finish right on time so it wasnât an issue. When we were checking out, we were talking to all three women who we had interacted with and they were telling us how business was booming since they were featured on the news in the fall of 2022. I am so happy for them! They even have punch cards if you become a âfrequent flyer,â and you can receive money off your pottery pieces. They completely deserve to be busy and I hope they thrive continue to be successful and thrive. I for sure will become a...
Read moreI LOVED our experience here! The pricing is extremely fair. For about $15-$30 per piece you receive ANY and ALL glaze you could wish for (refills are free) and they fire it for you! ...And if it breaks during the fire process? They give you a credit for whatever you paid (the full amount) so that you can come back and make another piece!
Every person we had contact with was so warm and helpful. They had plenty of suggestions on how to make our art the way we wanted it to be. It was clear they are experienced and good at what they do!
The beautiful thing about this being a small business is that they go above and beyond for their customers (who really just become family). They've offered to let me pop in during store hours, buy my piece, and send me on my way with the glaze so that I can do it at home and bring it back to be fired. Why would they do this? Simply because my work hours conflicted with their open hours.
I'm a single individual person and they offered that to me. They are beyond generous and deserve the world. I am itching to head back visit them again. They are such kind and talented people! THANK YOU to every member of the Peace Love & Pottery studio! I'm so thankful to have...
Read moreHave been wanting to check this place out and it was well worth the wait! ⨠Opted on a walk in session. Was greeted right away and given the first time customer directions. My piece was ready for pick up about a week later and it turned out great! - Helpful tip: the walk-in spots get filled rather quickly on the weekend. I was there, first customer to walk in as soon as they opened. By the time I picked out my product to glaze, the place was packed! I recommend making reservations if you are having an event, be willing to wait if no walk-in spots are available OR coming during a âslowâ time. - 10/10, canât wait to go again! Kid friendly. If you are like me and prefer an adult setting, they post post events on their Facebook page of adult only...
