The pancakes my girlfriend ordered came out half cooked.
My French toast hardly had any cinnamon in it. Was basically bread with eggs on it.
Sausage gravy and biscuits were hardly seasoned.
The Sausage links were the best part of the meal by a LONG shot and they still weren't even that great.
And finally the BIGGEST reason for my review... The waitress... She kept making comments towards me and my girlfriend that seemed very harsh?... She kept sayin things like "man the cook is gonna be busy back there for a bit" when we were one of two tables in the restaurant and we didn't even order that much food. Felt very targeted at weight. And then even came by AGAIN and said "dang are you guys getting full yet???" Like girl WHAT... Who asks that question and makes that statement? Very tone deaf and rude. And the food one top of it was just not worth it. It was over $50 for some mid tier food and to be basically made fun of while we tried to enjoy our meal and support a...
Read moreThis review only gets two stars because of the great service that Marsha gave us, otherwise it would have been a 1 star.
I completely agree with the previous review about the French toast. It's basically egg bread. Like they put a peice of bread in scrambled eggs. This is not an egg wash, with cinnamon and sugar this is two while eggs scrambled on the bottom of the peice of bread.
To top that off the sausage links were frozen in the middle and inedible. The bacon had the flavor of being cooked ahead of time and reheated to order and the potatoes were from frozen and flavorless. Even the sausage gravy tasted more like flour than gravy.
Two things i did like. 1) They give you a coffee pot at your table so you can pour your own coffee when you're ready instead of the waitress changing your mixture. 2) they let you butter your own toast.
Overall it was worth a shot but i will not...
Read moreThe food was typical diner fare. We were here for breakfast. The food was good and the service was fast. The menu was a bit wonky. There were a lot of breakfast combos listed but the menu didn't have cornbeef hash and eggs listed separately, only as part of a combo with hash browns included. There is already potatoes included in the hash more potatoes are not needed. There was a list of breakfast specials listed for $6.99 which is a great price although it is only available if you buy a $3.00 beverage. Just call it a $9.99 deal and include the drink. It is a nice diner but the staff was constantly yelling back and forth or shouting to the kitchen or loudly greeting people walking in the door. Despite the quirky menu and "interesting " atmosphere we still had a good breakfast with fast service at a...
