I dropped off my wedding dress in May of 2021 for my wedding in October 2021. The owner very kindly asked if she could get through prom first before beginning my dress - I told her no problem since my wedding was still months away. I dropped off my veil to also be shortened a month or so later and she hadn't started it. I then began calling to follow up every 3 weeks-ish because I wanted to at least get my first fitting in. Long story short, she would always say the dress would be COMPLETELY done next week and to call back then. Every time I'd call she told me she hasn't started it yet. Come END OF AUGUST my mom took the dress away from her as she STILL HADN'T STARTED IT and my wedding was in 40 days. Took to a place in Monroe MI and had to pay double because there was so much work to be done in so little time. It required at least 5 fittings, where Stitch 2 Stitch didn't think I even needed one???

When my mom came to get the dress the owner had the worst attitude about it.

I brought my wedding dress here to be altered less than a month before my wedding. Compared to the other places I went in Toledo, she was SO much calmer and accommodating about my timeline. I went in for the first appointment and her response to when I would need it by was "Yeah, no problem, how does next Thursday work? That way you have time for further alterations if needed?" She was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to my facebook messages. The alterations were nice after the first appointment but needed a little more done. She had those adjustments complete by that Saturday and the dress looked AMAZING. She made every adjustment exactly as I imagined and really made the dress fit my body just right. I'm SO happy with Stitch2Stitch and really cant say enough about how stress free it was to work with her and how amazing her alterations made my dress look on me. Plus, her pricing was so reasonable. This review is way overdue and for that I apologize! Not only was this seamstress talented beyond any comprehension, but truly a beautiful person as well. I had to have a dress altered for my son’s wedding. I’ve never had an experience like I did with Rebecca the owner and tailor extraordinaire! She made me feel beautiful and made my dress custom fit me like it was made only for me! I hate having attention on me and I’m extremely shy when it comes to that. So all I’m saying is if it weren’t for Rebecca and I had gone somewhere else I know in my heart it would’ve been the biggest mistake ever!
