Absolutely 5/5 stars. From the moment we walked in when we were greeted by Rebeka, til when we left thrilled, this was a fantastic experience.

My biggest criteria for committing to a large purchase is that I trust the salesperson who is helping me. I need to know and believe that they aren't just looking at me like a commission. I need to know that they actually care about what I want, what I'm willing to spend, and respect the time I need to consider if the thing I want to buy is right for me. I was absolutely given that by Rebeka.

She directed us to where we needed to find recliner couches, was very hospitable, like she was welcoming us into her own home. She explained different models and features, encouraged us to take time to just sit and hang out to get used to the couches.

She gave us plenty of time to chat on our own, but we never felt abandoned by her, nor did we have to go looking for her. She was extremely kind, patient, and welcoming of our 9 year old, had conversations with her and helped make her part of the shopping experience.

Because it was a low pressure, friendly environment, we could just concentrate on the actual furniture. We didn't have to worry about aggressive sales tactics or haggling. Everything was explained clearly. We felt confident in our purchase.

The credit application was easy and painless and very quick. They were even able to deliver a day earlier than anticipated! (I'll update to include delivery review)

PS before we committed we chose to look at Ashley Home Furnishing and we really got sketchy vibes from the whole place. So we immediately went back to Harkness and Rebekah, and we have no regrets!

Started working with a sales guy from open Mario. Me my wife and baby. Were not very pleased with his pushy salesman tactics. Hovering over several times when we were still trying to decide what we liked and compare. The selection in Harkness is HUGE! Highest quality products in one location. We drove 120 Mile's to buy today. But after not pleased with our service with our previous salesman. We were about to walk out. Then we ran into Keith Walker. He noticed we were not too happy and asked what was wrong. Very nice and a pleasure to work with. We showed a sale going on for another competitor's online ad which was 1k less for the overall set. (BRAND NEW ITEM) which was at harkness already marked down 800 from suggested retail.

He asked kindly if he could see it. He started doing some numbers remaining respectful and kind. Not only did he match the competition but gave us a military discount on top. So of course with that kind of service we purchased more items to complete our order. Full living room set and decor. Couldn't be more happy as well as Britney behind the counter helping us out and Jt I believe helping load our job up carefully. Also there was two gals helping set up for the showroom upstairs that helped load our items and take them downstairs and gave us soda cans because we were there for a while. Very nice staff. Can't say enough about this family environment. Can't judge a store from just one bad apple. Stay clear of Mario and you will have nothing but the best customer service ever! We will continue to shop here and travel the distance to the best furniture store I have ever been in. Thank you from my family. We will send everyone we know to you! 5 stars...

After PCSing here and not having a couch we tried so many places around who were all quoting us at a 6+ week wait for delivery and no pickup options. we started calling around and losing hope- we called Harkness and Keith talked to us and told us he would be happy to help us! we showed up and were AMAZED. it is at least 3 stories tall and WIDE any furniture items you could think of or possibly need and so many options with great discounts and military discount too! Keith checked us out with the couch we picked and informed us their wearhouse is right behind the building in the parking lot. we got a pickup slip, pulled our pickup truck out back and they even loaded it in the truck for us in plastic and everything so it wouldn't get dirty! they were our lifesavers last week so that we didn't have to go another weekend without a couch to watch our movies on our chill downstairs on! One of the only places around here that actually holds all of their furniture and let's you pick up same day! They even have a little snack bar with free snacks and refrigerated drinks to pick from and gave us mugs with candies and a card in when we bought our couch. we got a great deal, excellent friendly and funny customer service thanks to Keith and his staff, and our couch all in one visit. we will be back again for the rest of the things we will be needing shortly too. thank you guys so much🤍. there's also so much to see such as their family started/owned business that has been there since 1920 and have a wall that goes through all of their years they did expansions, and an old jukebox with songs, and overall just a clean and extraordinary environment to...
