Reggae On The Way — Local services in Tacoma

First off, concert, musicians, bands were wonderful and amazing! Staff and other attendees were also wonderful! Venue.. eh leaves a little to be desired! Why so much dead air space? After each scheduled band there should still have been music playing! With all the streaming services nowdays! Crazy how dead it was! We attended both days 2023! This was a Reggae festival! Island music! Not to mention that only the individual bands merch had plus size clothing! Where was the plus size clothing for "Reggae On the Way"? Even the 3xl tshirts that we bought for the men fits like 2xl if being honest; and a slim fit 2xl at that. Where was the 4xl etc for the plus size people? We got in merch line first day within 15 min of venue opening. So they werent sold out! Not to mention there werent enough bathrooms or trash cans! Most attendees were trying to clean up but where to put it? Parking was beyond terrible! And the beach balls were a pain! Couldnt stand and vibe because the beach balls hitting you in face and head! You couldnt enjoy music because you had to pay attention to where the beach balls were at! I dont think my family and I will be back...

First year going, and I knew I didn't need to be there for the entire day, so I got there for the last 3 bands and walked right in. After reading the other reviews of people waiting 2 hours, I'm glad I showed up late. I wasn't all that thrilled with the venue, and there were no signs showing the VIP section, so it took me a while to find it. And how is the VIP area basically the same as the regular area. We paid more for VIP but didn't get much for it. We should have had the entire front row section like a normal VIP ticket, along with the separate bars and bathrooms. I didn't use the bathrooms. The bands were great! Some of the crowd, not so much. Some people think they are entitled, unfortunately, and instead of moving over when there was a ton of space, they try to get you to move. I have never had issues with another music fan before, until this show. I stood my ground and wasn't going to let someone be a bully! In the end, I had a great time, found easy parking, but won't buy...

Not very well organized, you get different answers if you ask different staff members. My wife asked online multiple times if there was reentry allowed and some said yes others said no. The ticket said no. Asking for help finding things inside the venue results in similarly confusing contradictions. Most porta-potties in the VIP section were broken on the first day but they managed to bring in more for the second day. Overall it just seemed like the organizers didn't know what...
