Airport Tavern Music Hall — Restaurant in Tacoma

Been a regular here for about a year and a half now if not longer, always had a good time, never had any problems with the people or place until last night when trying to get in at i believe 11pm on taco Tuesday night last night. security patted me down like he was trying to feel if I had god knows what INSIDE my BODY after seeing me clearly dump all my things on the table next to us (somewhat understandable security wise but was a bit ridiculous with how hard he was patting and grabbing me), cleared me, told me to take my hoodie off and so I did, and as I was about to walk in i asked if I could put it back on inside as a genuine question and this low impulse/emotional control dude grabbed me to deny me entry for it, After I shook his weak ahh grip off me and told him not to put his hands on me he wanted to get all up in my face to try n provoke some violence out of me. Keep in mind the only thing i wanted to do was go inside to go get some cheesy bread because i was hungry...🤦‍♂️. hopefully this unprofessional and quite frankly ridiculous behavior reaches somebody in management and gets sorted out. The bar staff is aggressive. 3 weeks in a row at their taco Tuesday the short bartender has disrespected me. First week, as I was cashing out he cussed me out. I've been in the service industry for 15 years and I understand when your in the weeds so I still tipped. The next week I came in and he was condescending and completely rude. Then last night he assaulted me. I was not drunk and was wearing heels, which I don't wear often and was stumbling. I tried to explain this to the security and they treated me like a vagrant. Then the same bartender came up screaming at me and when I asked for explanation he tried to pick me and pushed me out the door to which I fell on the concrete because I was in heels. My legs and knees are all bloody now. If this is how you treat paying customers this place should be shut down. He had no right to touch me let alone throw me to the ground all because I asked the reason they were asking me to leave. I wasnt bothering anyone or making a scene until i was told not to come in. I'm not the only person I've seen him treat this way. I will not be coming back and will be reporting...

Disappointed by my visit to airport tavern on Tuesday the 5th due to the rude attitude of the bouncer Had been told by many people to try out their electric taco Tuesdays. Started off the encounter, by being in line and him loudly saying he hates Tuesday because of the type of people that come on Tuesdays. I brushed it off when our time came to show IDS. Was with a group of 4 other people. The bouncer allows me and two friends to walk in as I thought there was no cover charge. i walked away not realizing he stops my two other friends after IDing them stating the cover charge was $10.82 each. My 2 friends paid the charge and told me about it. Upon leaving one of my friends that was not charged asked him why he charged our two friend but not us or anyone in front of our group. He stated ‘I don’t know’ and then follows up with ‘well do you want me to charge you money’ I was hoping to like their EDM Tuesday as I’ve heard people say it’s a great energy and great people.
