What an incredible family owned and run business Bluestone Jewelry is! The jewelry options are just stunning and many are uniquely creative. I personally LOVE their beautiful, quality Truckee Tahoe jewelry options and own a variety of pieces. Bluestone also displays numerous jewelry pieces that are not specific to the the Truckee Tahoe region and are equally lovely. I want to add their customer service is impeccable! My sister purchased a ring from the Truckee store that was created by an outside company. When one of the stones fell out two months later Mark replaced the entire ring with no questions asked! They often offer to clean jewelry that my friends and I are wearing while we shop. As we entered Blue Stone we were happily greeted by Ollie, Bluestone’s mascot; A loving, beautiful Goldendoodle. While drooling over all the lovely jewelry, we were helped by Benton who was so very accommodating. He is very knowledgeable and extremely courteous. He was patient and kind as we went from one case to another asking to see certain pieces. There was one piece we were interested in which we were interested in customizing to which he obliged, changing the Emerald Bay gemstone to be in the actual lake of the necklace. Benton was very helpful and accommodating as I tried different length chains for a pendant I was interested in. There are a lot of original works of art in this gem of a store. Bluestone Jewelry is a family owned buisness, in Tahoe City CA, on the shore of Lake Tahoe. Store contains beautiful Diamonds and Rubies but more inmportantly they carry Topaz, Citrine, Pearl's, Local gold in Quartz and my personal favorites Blue Chalcedony amongst many other precious and semi precious stones. Can set cut stones ranging in Cabeshon to Ceylon, Princess cuts amongst others set in Yellow Gold, White Gold and Platinum. Benton and Sara are very friendly, kind and humble store owners. I took a SEIKO PADI DEEP BLUE King Samurai watch to him to replace a band and adjust some links. Again Benton was very kind and friendly, and was able to adjust my watch withing 10Minutes while I waited patiently and browsed his store.
