ETA: This review had been suppressed when I submit as 1 star, so I have to give the place 5 stars for the review to be visible to the public.

Original post: We wanted to like this place, but our experience was terrible. We ordered online for pick up and tipped on the order then. We got to the restaurant at the time it said the order would be ready, but every door was locked despite there clearly being plenty of people inside. We waited, knocked - nothing. Finally I had to pound on the door and a customer let me in. The staff said the door was supposed to be unlocked and they didn't know. Keep in mind that the way they "unlock" the door is to twist the handle where it lodges itself into the "open" position, but if anyone then nudges the handle it immediately goes back to the prior, locked position.

When I finally was able to ask for my order, it wasn't ready. They were so kind though as to print off a new receipt for me to sign for "additional tip". The five minutes I was supposed to wait turned into ten. When I finally got the food, it was all sealed in boxes so I couldn't see what was there.

When we got back, half of the order was incorrect. The loaded tots were missing half the ingredients (cotija cheese and green onion). Then the fries that came with the fish were plain fries, not the seasoned fries that were supposed to come with it. Plus the mean green sauce tasted off, like there was something that went sour in it. One of the pieces of fish also tasted off.

Oh, and if you want to use COVID as an excuse for the bad service, employees should probably be...

Enjoyed a leisurely lunch here during the recent snowstorm - we'd had plans to hit the mountains but with everything closed due to the high winds and absolutely dumping snow we opted for a day in town. Ended up here for a nice lunch with tasty food and some good cocktails.

The special was a pastrami chili that my partner enjoyed but said the cotija cheese was a bit salty for their taste- but it didn't stop them from devouring the whole bowl! The Naan flying bird was fantastic - very flavorful with juicy chicken, bright tang of the pickled red onions and the salty flavor of the feta - i opted for no aioli on mine and it was still delectable. The service was a bit slow so if you're in a hurry I wouldn't recommend but if you're alright with Tahoe Time you should be just fine enjoying a meal and drink here.

They also have some board games to play - a couple nearby had a spirited game of battleship going and it seems they encourage a...

Meals Come with pretty ok chips wife liked most of the cheese steak in a pita bread

nice that the food was different :-). BUT . Run your own food bus your own tables. Get your own water Don’t ask the staff questions (not busy at all ) prompts 25% 22% or 20% gratuity “options” on screen !

They were playing the most heinous music I have ever heard in my entire life.

We’ve gotten there 10 minutes after opening and the bathroom was trashed despite us being the first people in there for the day as half the signs still said they were closed. Was that my fault for coming in? I don’t know.

Not only do you have to run your own food but there’s a sign in the bathroom telling you to let the staff know if the bathroom is dirty but there’s also a sign thing that says staff should wash hands. If the staff is washing their hands, shouldn’t they also know if the bathroom...

The veggie falafel was just like they took a handful of leftover veggies or side veggies from other dishes and sauteed them and stuck them on the naan bread. All the veggies like the peas just kept falling out. Pretty mediocre. I got tater tots that were 10 dollars which is crazy overpriced for tots. I ended up putting the tots in my falafel to give it at least some flavor. My partner also thought his food was pretty boring as well. Also no one wants potato chips as a side! It's just cheap man. I would not come back.

Since the pandemic, many restaurants have had problems with staffing. I get that. But when a restaurant clearly stops trying and uses the pandemic as an excuse for lazy customer service while charging top dollar for everything, it's time to rethink where I spend my hard earned money. This place is Exhibit #1. And they need to get their story straight on the lack of WiFi (more laziness). First I was told yes, then no, then yes. At lease the food deliverer tried to get me connected (alas to no avail).
