At first, I thought this place to be respectable after they re-sized my fiance's ring shortly after we got engaged. However I was unfortunately proven wrong. We carried our engagement ring back to Nina's to have some repairs done on the bracket which holds the diamond. In specific we wanted the brackets tightened and more secure because one of the wires had became loose. When we picked back up our engagement ring, it all seemed fine until a few hours into my fiance actually wearing the ring she looked down and the diamond and bracket had completely disappeared.(it fell off) You can imagine our surprise and confusion, seeing that we had just picked up our newly renovated ring from Nina's. How could something like this happen if we brought our ring in to be repaired? Within 24 hours my fiance went to Nina's to show the result of their repair work only to be met with rudeness and disdain from the 2 male owners and employees at Nina's Jewelry store. The owner literally mocked my fiance saying "our ring didn't fall off because of magic and that she must have hit the ring with extreme force or damaged it on our own within the few hours after we picked it up from their store". They also immediately said they would not take accountability for this whatsoever. Wow. Could you imagine how we felt as a young couple? THIS IS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!! Our engagement ring is completely destroyed! If we had went to a different jeweler we would probably still have our ring in tact but unfortunately we went to Nina's Jewelry Repair and they destroyed our engagement ring. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE NOR TRUST THEM WITH ANY PRECIOUS JEWELRY. My experience with this place has been terrible!!! DO NOT GO IF YOU LOVE YOUR JEWELRY! I love this lil shop good finds, fast repairs for years I frequent this shop and would tell folks about it until recently. I took in a hand made rose gold bracelet that needed the link in the center rejoined. At the counter I lace the bracket on my wrist to show the elderly lady what needs to be repaired. The bracelet was so small it barely loop around my wrist. A few days later I got a call to pick up the bracelet laid out on the counter was machine made flat and no dept and it was pale yellow gold I looked at and the younger woman looked at also as if she knew it was not mine. I am not one to argue I walked with it then I called back to let them know I was not happy that the bracelet is def not mine esp since you can wrap it around my wrist almost twice….. he told me that he was not sure the camera has me showing the bracelet to the older lady when I brought it in …. My bracelet was handmade in Indian, it was a child’s bracelet in rose gold with depth not flat design show a ribbon like swirl in a rectangular shape with depth ….. they close at 5 pm. I am so dissatisfied and mostly disappointed after so many years you’d do this to a paying customer. For anyone going be sure to take a picture otherwise you are at a loss! These people here are amazing. If it's professional work you seek @ a reasonable and most affordable price then you are @ the right place. I have done work here in the past and beautiful work worth the compliments such as when I get my watch polished by Greg the watchmaker polished to a gloss that you can see your reflection. I have also had some custom jewelry made with them. Prem is my hook up when it comes to that and he always comes thru for me. He's patient and helps me materialize my idea into wonderful show quality reality. Finally everyone here is always smiling from the moment you walk in always a warm feeling. Uncle (Prem's father) as everyone fondly calls him is one the sweetest guys you will ever meet, and so is Aunty (Prem's mom) a very charming and sweet lady. Finally I know i said alot already but cant go without special mention to my homeboy Randy Chad. Always hooking me up with that premium jewelry shine whenever I bring my gold or silver jewelry clean, and sweet and charming Nadia who's always smiling and cheerful. Shout out to Marvin the jeweler always with his quality work, and Neelo who's the person to see when you looking for some quality silver jewelry.
