I wanted to a fresh start ,since my hair had endured so much damage, and you could see the difference in the volume of my afro . I decided to do another big chop. The roots of my hair was dense ,but the ends were thin ,and you could see through my hair😥 . So I had two options to cut the thin ends as it grows or remove all the ends. Initially, when i called I ask if there is a natural hair specialist , I was then referred to A.j. Unfortunately I was not able to meet her , so she had go leave early. Instead Shellie cut my hair she was open, patient, understanding , sweet, and she made feel comfortable . I showed her a pic of a style I wanted and she duplicated it . In the past I had a negative experience with a so called natural salon that knew nothing about hair care . it was refreshing to see that race does not matter when it comes to hair only your skills. Shellied handled my hair with care and was so gentle with detangling it.My hair 4b-c which is very tightly curlied , coiled ,and dry , so it is prone to breakage. Lastly, I am was happy that Super cuts was able to accommodate a Muslim woman since I can't show my hair to male non family member .
