Sierra Madre Med. Rec. — Local services in Taos

Great little shop. I didn't even know it was there until doing a search on Weedmaps for clones. Staff was great while I waited for the plant I requested which was not at the shop at the time. The owner brought it to the shop for me. Super impressed with that!

I went strictly for clones/cuttings but was shown some flower while there and will be trying that out next time if I don't spend all my money on clones lol.

Anyway, I worked as a store manager at one of the major retailers in taos for a bit...one thing I've learned that is super important when hiring staff, customer service is everything! And the people I hire have to have that skill in order to work at my store. The employee that helped me did everything perfect and because of that I will be returning!

Thanks so much I'm happy with my plants even the one I knocked over by accident and purchased because I felt so bad. broke off a branch so I bought it but it should bounce back. Hey looks like I topped it when it hit the floor while shopping. It will save me the trouble later lol.

Love these guys! It's not a swanky looking place — but what their unpretentious little shop lacks in posh factor it definitely makes up in outstanding service and quality of their nugs.

I mostly buy flower to press into fresh rosin. (it stores a long time without losing potency or flavor and it's the purest and tastiest vape you can get...) Here are some pics of their strains I got a while back that I pressed. The dark molasses looking one is the Golden Goat. I'd give it 11 out of 10. Amazing strain. The lighter color that's whipped honey looking consistency is Fruit Punch. This one smells and tastes like a bowl of fresh ripe fruit, just like the name suggests. Another incredible strain.

Can't praise this little shop enough. Keep up the awesome...

One star. I visited this store today and I was treated very unfairly by the staff. They tried to overcharge me for an ounce of cannabis by using the gram price instead of the correct price. When I pointed out their mistake, they ridiculed me and refused to listen to my explanation. I felt discriminated against as an autistic person and I was very upset by their behavior. I will never come here again and I will tell all my friends to avoid this place as well. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Do not waste your time or money here. I have never felt more humiliated for explaining basic division. They need to hire people who have a higher than 2nd grade...
