Every time I go in there when the woman is behind the counter she has very poor customer service. She talks on her phone and doesn’t even acknowledge me in her store. I hate to feel that it’s because I’m an American black woman but!! I find it hard, not to notice that she greeted some other people that were African. And that is not the first time I’ve been going to the store for years. She just points to the cash register at how much it is. Doesn’t say anything she continues her conversation on the phone. No hello, no thank you, no goodbyes. She has very poor customer service just flat out rude. Sadly I go to the store because it’s the closest one to my house. I say “ Is that all you gotta say $30 no hello, no how you doing, no thank you, no goodbye. I’m the only person in your store.” She lets out a little chuckle. I shake my head and say “that’s a shame” she says thank you!! I knew when I was heading to that story was a mistake. But my new store didn’t have the hair color I needed. I sure dread going to this place unless the...

Kabir is a total dude, as well! I challenge ANYONE to not like him every second you spend in his small business!
You and I go way back, and so just trust me on this one. Check African Boutique sooner than later, and try the Barbican...
