I went here for the first time yesterday and will NEVER go back. I needed Abreva amongst a few other high ticket items. I asked one of the pharmacy techs in the back (literally next to the Abreva) who could help me get this locked item up. She said the worker up front. My daughter and I went and looked to get help. She wasn't there. Okay, I get it. Many times late at night, the employee might be sticking, etc. We looked on every ilse and didn't see her. After 10 minutes of not seeing anyone, I went to the pharmacy again to ask for help. There was one lady in line the tech was helping with a prescription. She was back and forth to the counter alas she prepared the medicine, rang her up, etc. I stood there for another 10, 12 minutes. The tech I know saw me standing there. Didn't acknowledge me. Say I'll be right with you. Nothing. I was hurting SO bad (severe back issues and worse when standing). I had not slept in two days I had been working so much. My patience was wearing thin. No I wasn't in the best mood, I admit. I had a rough week. The tech kept arguing with me telling me she was up there. I kept telling her we looked. Maybe she was, but the one time we laid eyes up there didn't see her. She went to go find the girl. The employee was ringing people up. I walked back up there again and vented I had been waiting over 20 minutes for help! Ridiculous! I have been in customer service management over 25 yrs. Yes, you will get tired, or upset customers. No matter what, being I wasn't cursing or calling names, she should have immediately started with I'm so sorry, please let me help you.... Something to that extent. She should have taken care of the customer! Instead, she immediately jumped to- "I was up here. You see all this makeup? " , And points to a cart behind her..... Just argued with me! I told her that is not how you talk to customers. My 17 yr old daughter and I both said we did not see her when we looked. Again, girl got a horrible attitude and got defensive and swore she was up there.
I spoke my mind. It's been a rough couple months for me anyways and this week was pure hell was the work. You never know what a customer is going through. I'm usually on the other side and the first, as a customer, to be patient. But I also am the first to notice when I'm not being treated with good customer service. I get circumstances happen and things won't always go smoothly. It's all in how the employees handle it. Were they apologetic? Did they validate the customers frustrations (even if.its a crazy reason), did they make the customer feel valued? The employee up front is named Christy. She has a huge chip on her shoulder and huge attitude. She does not need to work in this business. It's obvious she doesn't know how to deal with stressful situations and take care of customers.
CVS- you are better than this. Just FYI, my daughter had to have a few things, so I got her stuff. But I dropped about $70 worth of stuff I was also going to get. Never got my Abreva. After the nasty disrespectful attitude from Christy, I just wanted to go. You lost money because of her. And I am telling everyone not to go there if they can help it. The service is just awful. They don't care about you. They just know your stuck needing something and it's so late, you have to go there.
Christy needs training severely if she's going to be in this field. You NEVER address a customer with a defensive stance. She continued snapping back and was just NASTY.
I would never advise this store unless it's your...
Read moreThe experience that I had today with CVS pharmacy has really blown my mind. I dropped my prescription off roughly around 10 AM this morning and a round 2:30pm I went to pick them up in the drive-through line. When I got home I noticed that one of my prescriptions which was in liquid form didn’t have the ingredients that’s within it listed, didn’t tell me whether it had to refrigerated or left out, nor Did it come with a measuring cup or syringe. Didn’t think it was a issue so I decided to call back and speak with someone, the first call I made to them i was hung up on. I assume that it was just a phone issue so i called back and spoke with the young lady who actually filled my prescription and I explained to her what was going on.She placed me on hold for 1 to 2 minuets and another person answered the phone and stated CVS pharmacy as I was trying to tell her I was on hold guess what happened..... the call was hung up again. So at this point I’m a little upset so I decide to drive back to the pharmacy I was greeted at the pharmacy counter by lady Who was very friendly. Without being rude I explain to her what happened to my prescriptions and me calling in and being hung up on twice She was very sympathetic and understood why I would be upset and she tried to help however she did not know the answers to my question so she asked a guy who was standing beside her. She informed him slightly of whats going on. his expression on his face looked as if It Was a big inconvenience for her to ask him the questions. There was no friendly attitude there was no greeting there was no apology on his behalf there with bare minimum effort of him trying to help. He simply looked at me asked what I need. I told him I didn’t know if the medicine need to be refrigerated or not... he simply said no that it doesn’t need to be refrigerated. I’ve then asked him about the measuring cup or syringe that didn’t come with It and how was I to measuring the correct amount that I need it. his words to me was it doesn’t come with it. He looks back at the young lady that was trying to be helpful and tells her go get me a syringe. Now Any time that I’ve ever received medication in a liquid form I’ve always received a measuring cup or a syringe. I could be wrong and maybe CVS pharmacy has a new guidelines to where they do not give those out anymore. The young lady comes back with a measuring cup and she again for the second time apologize for the mistakes that her coworkers made and I thanked her for that and left the store. When I got home and pulled out the measuring cup I realize that the measuring cup did not have the measurements that I need it. So I called back and ask for someone who was over the pharmacy department and I was transferred to a different department to where I had to ask for her again. Once she got on the phone I explained to her everything that happened she was very apologetic about everything I explain to her that that measuring cup that I did receive did not have the measurement that I needed. she asked what was on it and I told her. she proceeds to say well you could drive across town to the store she’s at and She can give me a measuring cup or you can just At the 10 mL line just pour about half of what you need. At that point I was a little shocked that I Was even given an option to eyeball the correct amount of medicine that I need it. I just calmly agreed with her just so that I didn’t come off rude and so that I could end the call nicely. Once the call ended I called...
Read moreI get the same medication each week i went from 14 pills a week to 4 pills only…there is a note on my prescription that says to ONLY FILL MY MEDICATION WITH A CERTAIN MANUFACTURER because the other manufacturer gave me seizures… so i go in to get my medication and they filled the wrong manufacturer so i take it back in and explain to the pharmacist and he blatantly looks at me and says “its not to late in the day today i will put the order in and we will have the right ones for you tomorrow!” So im like heck yeah GREAT thats no problem ill come back tomorrow…. Keep in mind i dont live close by its a good 45ish minutes 1 way to my house but I work late so i send them here to this CVS because they are 24 hour…
So the following day comes i call up there and explain to them what happened the prior day and that I wanted to make sure the right medication with the right manufacturer came in! I even told them the manufacturers name & the person i spoke with on the phone told me “yes we have them and they are ready” so I drive 45 mins (1way) to cvs and I get to the window to get my medicine & we ask again to double check and the lady at the window looks confused and tells me to hold on, she goes to get the pharmacist and he comes to the window not with a “hey how are you, or how can I help”… just a rude “we dont have it idk what to tell you!” So i explain to him that there must be a mistake because I called before i came and plus the pharmacist from the day beforehand assured me they would be there today!
He just looks and says the same thing again “i dont have them” So then I ask him when he would get them and he tells me Monday! Mind u this medication has been there since Wednesday, I tried to pick it up Thursday and Friday … if the pharmacist that I’m talking to you can tell me that he knows that they will get them on Monday. Why didn’t they have them on the day that the other pharmacist told me… instead of looking at me and saying I can’t guarantee you that they’re gonna be here so you might want to send them somewhere else… you would rather have me weight on a medication that you don’t even know if you’re gonna get??! ANOTHER THING THAT ABSOLUTELY BLOWS MY MIND is why was this medication by the wrong manufacture filled for a SECOND TIME??? And why was I told over the phone that they had it just to get there and them not have it! WHEN THERE IS A LITERAL WHOLE ENTIRE NOTE ATTACHED TO MY PRESCRIPTION THAT TELLS THEM THE EXACT MANUFACTURER THAT IT NEEDS TO BE, AND IF THEY DON’T HAVE THAT MANUFACTURER, DON’T FILL IT!!!
Needless to say, the pharmacist was absolutely no help, i have been without my medication for almost 2 days now (& it’s not fun at all) and let me tell you the pharmacist couldn’t have cared LESS!
CVS YOU REALLY NEED TO HIRE SOME PHARMACIST THAT HAVE MORE COMPASSION CAUSE THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME A PHARMACIST HAS BEEN RUDE AND UNCARING!!
Also to fill the medication A SECOND TIME IS WILD & should 100% BE LOOKED INTO! How many medications are they...
