Upon arrival I received a call that he doesn’t treat what I scheduled my appointment for two weeks prior to my visit. They still took me in to be seen but It was highly unprofessional overhearing him yelling “WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS TO ME” in the hall way commenting on me. The nurse/assistant told him I was called on the way that he doesn’t treat this diagnosis and that I was mad about it as well as a few other words I don’t want to comment on. Firstly, I’m not mad that a doctor doesn’t deal with a practice outside of his field. I was upset that I took that day off from work, drove 2 hours to be seen for something I scheduled for two weeks prior and was told a few minutes before my appointment he doesn’t. Although, Dr. Barron explained the reasoning behind why he doesn’t and I completely understood. He offered the next best solution to treat something else I suffer from. It would have been 5 star if it wasn’t for the lack of professionalism I experienced on my initial visit. After my follow up, I’ll see if I’ll continue with...
Read moreThis doctor clearly doesn't care about his patients history nor medical plan that they have been on for over 20 years. I recently moved to the area, upon establishing my medical team in York county, Dr. Barron is the only doctor within my team of neurosurgeons, neurology, and spine doctors who denied my current medical care. My first visit to establishing his care, was less than 10 minutes, he didn't complete a full new patient exam, i had to request a mamogram whereby he said set it up yourself and provided me a pamphlet. I was in and out and he had zero concern for my well-being. He had zero understanding of my diagnoses which are severe neurological and lifelong obstacles that must be managed properly. I'm mortified by his...
Read moreWould definitely not recommend this practice. My husband has been a patient for years. He had an accident and can barely walk. I made an appointment with Dr. Barron's nurse and she told me 1030 am. My husband received a text saying 1045 and another with the same time in which he showed up at 1045. The receptionist told him he was a no call no show and he would have to reschedule! Again the man could barely walk and was turned away. I have since left messages for a phone call with Dr. Barron's nurse and the practice manager and have yet to receive one. This is a totally unethical way to practice medicine! I hope someone reads this review and relays it...
