Firehouse Subs Celanese Road — Restaurant in Rock Hill

I don't typically leave a lot of reviews and only leave negatives when it's truly justified.....

This Firehouse location rides a constant roller coaster of good/bad/good/bad. I haven't been here in a few months...a few months ago the place was excellent. Super clean, super organized, super friendly.

This time, not so much. The store is filthy. Catering supplies are scattered throughout the store. The drink area is filthy. The Coke Freestyle machine requires you to scan the QR code as the touchscreen is inop. You scan the QR code and it says "connecting to machine" and never moves past this. Even when an employee does it. The employee got the manager who comes out, lifts his shirt revealing his stomach and proceeds to scratch his stomach before saying "it's probably updating". The manager just stands around and doesn't offer a refund or anything as a substitute.

At this point I just ask the cashier to get a couple extra bags of chips in lieu of the drinks and he says yes. Get my food and the meat is cold, while the bread is barely toasted. I didn't order the cold sandwich option. The bacon is burnt. The sandwiches are sloppily thrown together. Not even worth trying to get a refund over. Live and learn.

Caring management is obviously non-existent at this store and it's a shame as its super convenient for us and in the past we've really enjoyed subs...

I just left firehouse maybe 5 minutes and honestly worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I first walk in and greet the cashier and had to greet her twice before she even said a word to me. I proceed to place my order. I stand there roughly ten minutes. Mind you there is NO ONE IN THERE BUT ME. All of the employees are just standing around chatting, except one who I’m assuming is fixing my sandwich. Finally the one making a sandwich puts a sandwich on the counter I ask him three times is this for me. He not only ignores me but walks off to take his shirt off, and goes back behind the counter without his shirt to gather his things, I’m guessing to visibly say he’s no longer working for the day. Come to find out it’s his personal food that he was making when there was a customer waiting on their order. The person who I’m assuming is the manager, then realizes that his employee was making his own food and not the customer, the customer who has been standing there still doesn’t have her food. Starts to apologize and then makes my sandwich, incorrectly might I add because it was not toasted, no tomato, no onions. I went to this location to purchase the new french dip sub i saw on an ad. Came in and was extremely polite when the lady who took our order was rude and had a disgusting attitude. Already she was rushing us through the order, mind you there was no one else there. She told me they "did not have the french dip". I was not going to cause a scene so i ordered something else. The french dip was not for me but for my Father, so when i told him they said they didnt have it he was far from happy. He told me to call the location to make sure they didnt have it, so i did. When i called, the same lady who took our order answered. I asked if they had the french dip, WHICH THEY DID IN FACT HAVE. The workers were so lazy and rude, laughing and gossiping that they didnt even clean the knife to cut my turkey sandwhich. Which i know they didnt because there was marinara from a previous sandwhich on mine. The worker with the short blue hair and the worker with curly brownish red hakr were truly terrible and i will not be...
