If I could give less than one star I would! I am a single mother and getting my nails done is a luxury I don’t get to experience often. For my birthday I decided to treat myself to a set of nails.. I called to inquire about a BASIC acrylic set with REGULAR polish. I understand gel costs more and I’m on a budget. I was told $22! Great! I went in and told them I called and i wanted the same thing, basic set regular polish. I was there for about an hour and a half.. the whole time getting my nails done the tech never said a word to me. When I go to pay they tell me it’s $30! Now I Had planned on paying 30 with a tip because I was told the set was $22. Then when I told them I didn’t think that was right they told me one price and are charging me another price they try to argue with me telling me that I would not get a set of nails cheaper anywhere else and that because I got longer nails that they cost more money. I explained I understand at some shops longer nails cost more money but when she cut my nails she never told me that there was a fee and my nails are not even very long. They then told me “if you know other shops charge then you should have known”! I should have known?!? I have never been there before in my life and EVERY OTHER SHOP tells you when cutting the tip if it is an extra charge for length. I paid the $30 and left no tip. The very next day my thumb nail cracks right where the tip is glued on. Two days later my pinky nail breaks. Now one week after getting my nails done my middle finger broke. All of them broke at the exact same place where the tip was glued on. VERY cheap work and EXTREMELY unprofessional staff. I will NEVER return to the shop and I will be sure to tell everybody I know what a horrible...
Read moreCame here by recommendation of a friend and I'm sorry girl but I'm not coming back. I came in for a full set and a pedicure. First, they don't use liners in the pedicure baths, which is gross. Sure the water is blue so they may use some antifungal chemicals but a liner definitely makes me more comfortable. Second, the tech who did my full set was very rough and cut me multiple times - to the point of bleeding A LOT. Then she continued to use the same drill filing tool with my blood on it and splattered blood everywhere. I didn't notice if she put it back with the other drill heads when she was finished but she certainly didn't make it look like she intended to clean it. On top of that my nails look horrid. Uneven, chunky, messy cuticles, etc. Normally I'll have them fine tune the nails until they look how I want but I honestly just wanted her to finish without further incident so I could leave. I'm sad that I paid money for these and just praying I don't get some kind of infection. Some positive notes were that they give you a bottle of water and that they play something other than news or cooking shows on the TV....
Read moreI recently moved to a new location a few months ago and was searching for a new nail shop. I’m the type of person that likes to stick to one shop and form relationships with the employees. After a bad experience at one shop I decided to give this place a try, since it’s right down the street from where I live and I have no been disappointed. Looks can be deceiving from the outside, it’s a small intimate shop, everyone is nice and listens to what you want and do exactly that. They don’t try to upsell you like some shops do and which I hate. I’ve gotten an acrylic full set with coffin shaped nails there and they were the perfect shape with none of them chipping or breaking. My last visit I switched to sns nails so my real nails can grow and be healthy and they did an awesome job! I can’t recommend just one person because they have all have worked on my nails and are all equally good! The prices are very affordable as well. $20 for a basic pedicure but I usually get that with the callous remover so it’s $25 and it’s $15 for a fill with regular polish, my sns nails were $40! I def...
