Chopstick Express — Restaurant in Tempe

Was on the phone with my girlfriend while she ordered the orange tofu. Friendly service from what I heard in the background; the gentleman behind the counter (Simon) was very helpful as she wondered aloud what she should order, and thanks to his timely advice and guidance, she was able to confidently order before they closed.

Her order was ready within 15 minutes, during which she was so excited she paced back in front of the store in anticipation. Many chefs would undoubtedly succumb to the pressure of being observed with such frantic anticipation, but the chefs of Chopstick Express stayed cool under pressure and delivered the goods five minutes early! While it's quite possible they were eager to rid themselves of the uncharacteristically enthusiastic customer stalking the premises, their ahead-of-schedule delivery was commendable.

Her to-go order secured, my girlfriend journeyed back towards her car. She was momentarily stymied by the knot with which the to-go bag was secured, but after realizing the rest of the plastic bag was not as impenetrable, she tore it open to feast on the delicacies within. She declared it delicious and enjoyed it so thoroughly we mostly avoided the "discussion" we were supposed to be having about areas in which I need to improve. I shall be heartily encouraging her to return to this establishment should I face similar discussions in the future. Thanks...

OMG! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM ANY OTHER CHINEESE PLACE EVER AGAIN! Brandon answered the phone and actually got involved in all of our questions.. took time out, with knowing they were busy, was very suggestive, listened to what we "normally get" and ACTUALLY offered suggestions to tweek it up. Was very convincing also. The Family combo... didnt have General Tsos included, but, it was only a $1 more to replace the 3rd item. 😳Said it would be about an hour delivery... didnt take an hour at all! Even the driver was professional, friendly and courteous! We took 1 bite of everything and I HAD to call the store back and tell them what a wonderful experience we had because the food was SO fresh. There was NO sauce that I could add to the egg rolls... no sauce needed. This flyer menu is gonna be laminated and gorilla glued to the fridge. If there were more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat!...

Ordered online, food was delivered faster then they even estimated and the delivery guy was amazing! Super polite and genuine. They do take card which was great because not every has cash on hand. He even told told me about the coupons on fliers can be used on online orders, just put the code in the “leave comments“ section. I ordered the wontons, potstickers, crab rangoons, and Thai chicken with rice. All the food arrived hot and was delicious!! Nothing was greasy and wontons and rangoons were so crispy and flavorful! Thai chicken was so good and with a light crispy batter and a good coating of sauce. Really happy about this place, I’ve lived in Tempe for 5 years and just discovered this gem of a place. Prices were really good for the amount of food given. Recommend this place 10/10 and can’t wait to try other things on the menu. So glad I found my go-to Chinese...
