This is no longer. I have been a loyal customer for years. 2025 struck this bar.
My waitress admitted to throwing away my food when I wasnât done. She confirms she seen the burger and was on auto pilot to just clear the table. I told her about the situation and she brought it up to her manager. Her manager said âyou said it was okay to take the food.â I replied I was in the restroom, and the people at my table did not confirm this.
She was very passive and seemed under the influence of alcohol. She was not kind or nice and tried to blame me for her teams mistake. She was very mean and rude with a, âtalking down on you tone.â I did mention to her, her response to me was very off putting and âwhy are you angry with me?â She never apologized and walked off to hangout with another group she is entertaining. I have come here multiple times and spent 61.00 for my meal today. And for it be throw away is careless and not customer friendly.
In the end after being âaccused ,â and âpunished verbally.â They decided to make me a burger, as a replacement. I definitely did not feel comfortable as a person of color here or a customer. Be cautious and donât let them treat you with disrespect.
I over heard their conversation and they are not for the customer but against âyou.â You wonât see me here again. What a disappointment. This was a good spot. I hope, COACH sees this post. You know, if you know⊠because I was a...
Read moreI've been a bartender in the past and even in the very recent past. Needless to say I know the liquor laws. I asked the bartender for two beers one a bottle and one a can. I wanted to mix the two.. I then asked for a shot as well. The bartender who had started to be rude with me prior to this said she couldn't do it. I told her the law was you could have 32oz of beer and a shot. She still wouldn't do it she made me take the shot first. So I did, and paid my bill which was $68.00. I wrote on the top of the check learn the liquor law. No profanity that's all I wrote. I didn't even stiff her on the check, although I only gave her 10% because she was very rude. She made sure she served everyone else before she would serve me. Honestly there was no reason for that I was never rude to her until I wrote that note on the top of the ticket. Anyway we decided to go outside after that to finish our beers and to smoke. The bartender came outside and basically said "you could have told me to lean the liquor laws in person.. you didnt have to write it down". So I just said ok, and she went back inside. I can't help feeling though she wanted to start a fight with me which is pretty ghetto. I gave this place 3 stars because the food I had was pretty good. But zero stars...
Read moreAll I can say is that it is still the best neighborhood place. They continue to be awesome and involved in the community. I just talked to Elaine about pet rescue, they have had fundraises for Lily's Pad, the autoimmune playground and they have game night too! They also have the Back 9 for reserved gatherings. Great happy hour, good food, affordable and easy parking! They have daily specials. Tacos are tasty and affordable. So are their salads and lots of their other items. I also have a good breakfast and brunch menu especially during football season. Travis and Ronnie are awesome bartenders! They make great drinks, are friendly and remember what people like!
Elaine the owner donates time and money to the community. She is helping sponsor a special playground for immune compromised kids called Lily's Pad & and she donates gift cards for school fundraisers. She even had available toilet paper for anybody who needed it when there was a shortage during the pandemic.
The patio is good too it's got fans TVs and his super pet friendly sometimes they even have events for rescue animals.
