Placed an order for pickup and was allowed to pay over the phone with a credit card which was nice that we didn't have to place the order thru another app and could just call order In and have a live person speaking with us. Placed a breakfast order and the following evening decided late night to place another order. The guy working remembered my bf and even though we called in (unknowingly) 4 minutes before they were to close, he took the order for $151.39 and stayed open late for us to go and pickup food. For whatever reason our card didn't work once I got there and the man working was more worried about our food still being hot and to just call in the next day to take care of the tab. Which I immediately did. And I can honestly say that this restraint has customers for life. People don't do things like that anymore these days and for him to trust us enough to let us walk with the food is amazing. Their customer service is excellent. Every guy working was hospitable and friendly even when we were keeping them after they should have been off work... the food is fantastic and have not eaten anything there that wasn't great. * my bf and I rate our Mexican restraunts based on how good their horchata is, and right now, this place is in the lead. Strongly recommend dining there if you are also a fan!!! exceptional service and...

To start out, we placed an order to go. Maybe it was just a bad day or a new worker, but this was our experience. The shrimp taco was a cold, plain corn tortilla, with plain shrimp, lettuce, and some not great tartar sauce. The absolute minimum effort you could put in a shrimp taco. I ordered a combo of rice, beans, and two carne asada. The rice was overcooked, soggy, and bland. How do you mess up rice? I had ordered the tacos with no pico, thinking they would arrive with the works. There was no pico, but they did add guac which was not listed in the description, and unfortunately I hate guac. There was no cabbage, no cotija, no limes, and they did not add the sour cream we ordered. My fiance got the chimichanga, which he said was good but not great, and a quesadilla, which he said was not good and was mostly tortilla. We also ordered chips and salsa, but they just gave us a box of chips and pico together. No traditional salsa, and because the pico was not in it's own container, the chips were all soggy. No seasoning to be found. And...

I thought I would try this place after reading the reviews. Being from Stockton California and having been a police officer there for 30 years, trust me, I know good Mexican food when I taste it.

We'll I'll agree the staff was friendly, but the quality of food is just slightly higher than a Taco Bell. Their taco shells are just as hard and break apart like the Taco Bell shells. I'm used to having taco shells slightly deep fried and being a combination of crunchy/soft.

Their enchilada sauce was mediocre at best. Their beans were way below par and had little taste. I guess their food is okay for someone on the run, but I would not recommend it if you prefer a sit-down place with chips and salsa as the...

This is my second review of Salazar Brothers because they consistently serve quality food, the place is clean, and their menudo is really good. If you eat menudo and you haven't tried it here then you're messing up. Good menudo is hard to come by and it's even more difficult to find it consistently good. Also, they serve it with lemon instead of lime which, in my opinion is the proper way to serve it. Their beans and rice are also tasty.

No outdoor dining but they do have a drive thru! Indoor dining is spaced at least 6 feet apart. The people working there were so friendly. I got the chicken taco (first time I had one with a fresh taco shell), a tamale, and a churro! So delicious and I was really full. Overall value is great, prices were decent (cost about $12 for my whole meal). I will definitely be coming back!
