I took a vow long ago that I would never allow any of my personal vehicles In one of these drive thru lines again. 2/3s of my experience ordering in my car involve an employee approaching my vehicle, violating my personal space and asking me and my passengers invasive and personal questions, demanding to know what I did earlier in the day and what I'm doing later in the day, and judging my poor social skills when I struggle to know how to respond. I know it's something I need to work on but I get I get feeling like they want me to explain why I'm buying coffee or they're trained to be specifically annoying like this. Also when the employee approaches your car, they expect you to have full knowledge of the menu and not care about how much something costs when you're making your decision, which is annoying and presumptuous beyond all measure but they've trapped you in a labyrinth you can't escape while you're experiencing caffeine withdrawals so you really don't have any options . I guess there's some type of app to order in and that's probably your best option if you're a person who values your sanity or have trouble with social interactions. This location gets more stars than others would from me because they made an attempt to use logic and science to try to keep the typically horrendous drive thru lines from causing delays, death(s), and destruction like they do in most other locations. Every single thing on the menu is extremely overpriced But the coffee is pretty good and the selection can't be beat. Lots of outdoor seating which is something I like too. I've been to this location like 4 times and ordered something I only kinda wanted at the window by reading outloud words in front of me and avoiding eye contact with the cashier . It was more effective that I've ever been at any...
Read moreI knew approaching the drive thru line at Dutch Bros with two sleeping babies in the car was risky. But such is life with out some risk. The fun music with the high energy, talkative employees are one of the many reasons I am a regular there but today I hoped I could use my telepathy to synch in with at least one employee with the hopes that they could take it down a notch so I could grab my drink and not wake the babies..... high hopes... As I pulled in the happiest face approached my car. I slowly rolled down my window with a smile and whispered to him my order. My telepathic energy worked! (Totally kidding) but seriously! He whispered my order back to me with no additional words exchanged. Now was the true test.... I approached the window.... before I even rolled it down the cutie at the window shouted “guys! Turn the music down!” She smiles and whispered back to me my drinks, handed them over ever so quietly and I went on my married way with TWO BABIES STILL ASLEEP. No one appreciates two sleeping beauties the way a mama does and Dutch helped make this mamas dreams of sipping on a yummy ice coffee in silence a reality. THANK YOU to the Dutch Bros Team on Elliot for going that...
Read moreI would give less stars if I didn’t love the company as much as I do, however, this must be the location where they train everyone, because I’ve never had my drink made wrong as many times as I have at this location, and they are the slowest location. I went today to get coffee before work, as I am a hairdresser and need lots of caffeine, The drive up line was way too long, so I decided to go to the walk up line. There was one single person in front of me, yeah I was standing in line for about 10 minutes, with the employees just chit chatting away as if there isn’t a line wrapping around the building, and it sounded like they also made a mistake with her sugar free surprise rebel….how do you mess that up?????? Now I’m going to work without my coffee, and I’ll be going an extra mile and a half or so to the location on southern and mill from now on for better, quicker service. I tried giving the benefit of the doubt because they are the closest location to me, but today was the last straw, I walked out of the line nicely and just left. They didn’t seem to...
