I purchased a new car 12/30/2023. I purchased GAP insurance and extra coverage. The sales person stated that part of the deal of free oil changes for 3 years. Fast forward to 5/20/2024, I go to get oil change at Clay Cooley in Terrell, after getting the oil change and leaving, I receive a call stating that I did not have the free oil changes as part of my deal. The salesman that sold me the car no longer works there because he was telling people the wrong thing. But, I speak to a manager who tells me he cannot prove that his salesperson stated this because he is gone. My question, why is he gone? Because he was telling people incorrect information?? They shouldâve honored this especially if you let him go for giving incorrect info. The customer should not have to suffer due to your salesman being inadequate. They covered oil change from yesterday, thank you! And will be covering the second one, that is if they donât get rid of the manager that told me this. I am so disappointed with Clay Cooley!
